What does the reset PEPS function do? Is that to reset the key fob to factory settings so that it can be paired to another car?
It reset the smart box to a new condition with zero(0) keys registered to allow you to proceed to add a key
Hi we lost both keys to a ct200h 2011 , the dealer told us hee needs to replace the transponder in the car, but if I see you movie you add keys without changing the transponder in the car or is the ct200h and exception?
No, it should be straight forward, 15 or 20 minutes job, call any locksmith will do it for you without towing the car to the dealer, it cost around $75 for programming, if you close to Indianapolis let me know will get it done

Can you lock up a Lexus when programming if you miss a next and try over 6 times?
No, you can try many times no lockup, and always you can do reset and start over again

If the car is made in the USA some time there is no Immo. system happed to me two weeks ago th-cam.com/video/77jRPDddjcY/w-d-xo.html , did you check all fuses, check the smart box fuse, check the OBD2 port is good, WHAT YEAR OF THE CAR?
