yes u can use a wideband sensor on an engine that just has cdi. you just have to adjust the carb your self when an efi engine with an ecu does the air fuel adjustment for you right?

The white wire that you mention go to ecu what color of the wire on ecu you connect to ?

Bat+/ign switch/+ coil wire, ground if are a WB meter must have a +bat and chassi ground
