Japanese Themed Garden with River Stone Stream Bed, Paver Walkway, and Bluestone Porch Renovation

Here we designed and installed a Japanese themed garden with river rock stream bed. Over 95% of all plantings were of Japanese origin. Most plantings were evergreen for year round color. As you can see, evergreen doesn't mean everything has to be green. We also installed a new front porch and steps with natural ashlar style stone veneer and a thermal bluestone overlay. The paver walkway was constructed of Techo Bloc Blu 60 pavers in Champlain Grey with an onyx black border.

Not enough contrast and the rock, dark mulch and two color floor was allot! Not mentioning all the green plants are the same shade of green 👎
