Wingard SensarPro Information

I installed a Wingard SensarPro in order to more quickly find the right direction for over the air HDTV reception. Thought I would sure with you the information on what it is and how it is used. Hi David, I just got one the Sensar Pro & noticed it's got a USB port. Can you tell me what that's used for?

Hi Rick...Sorry to say I am not sure as mine does not have one. If it is on the outside, thus useable, I am guessing it is just giving you a charging port. (Nice idea if that is what is is.)

@@davidbott5438 I called Winegard today & the (tech) lady seemed surprised that it should have a USB port. I followed up by sending them an email with pictures after which they replied -
"The USB port is factory use only, there is no customer use for that port." Some tech..eh?
Maybe they hook the unit up to some test equipment via usb to test the function after manufacturing...just a guess. Thanks anyway Dave for your quick reply.

I bought an omni directional antenna, just mount it and never worry about aiming it.

David: You said the sensor pro was a direct replacement for the installed unit to switch between oTA and cable. Did you make a video showing how you did the install? Thanks
