Meet Robert and Catherine back in February after tramping in from the Cascade. Got invited in for a cuppa and a yarn. Lovely hospitable, interesting people. The walk in took 8 hours so didn't beat your time of 6:50 Chris but maybe next time, thanks for posting these videos

During our younger years, remember my father used to plant vegetables and fruits for our consumption. For compost/fertilizers, we used carabao dung, used to gather them put it in a sack/bag and bring it back home. Thanks for sharing this video, brings back memories. Living now in Christchurch NZ, originally from The Philippines (Southern Leyte). You should visit Southern Leyte! 😀
Hi Chris I love watching video from down home I knew your dad before you were even thought of I used to stay with Merv and Liz at Jackson Bay, drove the fish truck for years your dad often called in and we would chat away for hours while picking on cray bodies, good old days. From Murray.
Very cool as a Horticulturist and a outdoors person I love it , extremely lucky people to be able live like that. Keep up the videos well done , credit to you all
Your mother said that the only rubbish you take out is plastic and some types of metal i think most metals break down over time especially if buried and go back into the ground where metal originally came from in it's natural form.
For Mum and Dad they are very good at that. Dad lived there for 10 years by himself. However we do get a lot of visitors too, hikers and airplanes and helicopters.
What a beautiful person your mom is. 🌻
The best kind of gardening. Very natural. Returning to the earth and harvesting the bounty. Thanks Mum for allowing us in to share in your life.
