I’m keeping my 6.0. Bought new in 2003, has 59k miles. I don’t use it much but I’m not paying 100k for a new diesel. Plus mine is a 6 speed manual, manual transfer case and manual hubs. I hate automatics and you can’t buy a new manual anymore. Mine was 36k back in 03. F350 crew cab XLT 4x4, 8’ bed. No def no dpf either.
@@BruinHerr-bj7uk first thing, thank you for watching and commenting. It really means everything to me. I also agree with the 100k thing. I originally said that 100k for something I hardly use doesn't make sense for my life. 7 days a week I drive a Honda fit with a manual transmission because it's affordable. A new truck does sound nice, but the knowledge I've gained from the project and also share in my videos is priceless. The goal of the channel is to make the best version of the thing we thought was cool when we were Young. 2003 was along time ago, but you shouldn't be reminded by it while driving to the sand dunes. The suspension and steering In these big trucks get beaten to death and the only way to fix it is from the top down.
@@davem3789 I did, but I have the aux pulley for running a scroll air compressor at a later date. I don't remember if they offered an aux pulley for a fluidamper, but I do remember reading that some people, mostly manual trans, were breaking the oil pump with them. Tell me your experience
@@atomicgarage5606 I know this line sounds like every 6.0 owner ever, but I've really never had a serious issue with my 6.0. I've done a lot of work to it, for sure. But it's never not started or not haul ass. The worst thing that's happened was blowing out the ips and spewing oil from Nebraska to Denver Colorado but I was able to drive the entire way with frequent oil top offs. I would definitely like to own a 6.7 with the newer style transmission, but overall I really like the 6.0. I've driven one 7.3 once, I wasn't impressed but didn't hate it as much as I hate Dodge transmissions.

That cross member mount should be labeled "front" on one side
I like it
Nice looking build. Did you consider a Fluidamper? I could tell a difference on my 7.3.

@@One_More_Summer_Garage I've only been running mine for a few thousand miles. No issues so far. My truck is a manual trans. It does feel smoother.
Very Nice 👊🏼
@@YahuahIsKing1229 thank you for watching. It really means alot
Step 1. Throw it in the garbage and get a 7.3😂
