I'm no Christian, but I have massive respect for Tiny Tim; he's got a passion, and Howard Stern were making fun of him and his religion - which was very rude of them to. He was defending his religion in a calm and polite manner, and that's what I respect.
I look back at this, and my comment was a mess: constantly repeating myself and struggling to get to the point. I think Tim put up with Stern quite well without getting too angry, but the more I've discovered of Stern, the more I realize this is just what he does.

I wish I had met Tiny. I admire him so much for not being ashamed of Jesus, and sharing His name publicly, especially as an entertainer. There are very very few entertainers who would do this. Even Howard is sincere about Jesus here. He didn't realize what he was saying when Tiny called him on it. I think Tiny would have been more effective if he had been gentler in his criticism.

No it wasn't. This was in the late 80s/early 90s, and he eventually came back to the show and made multiple appearances (his last being just after his first heart attack in late 1996).
He may have hit his wife and other sins but he admitted he was a sinner and Jesus Christ saved his soul. We're all hopeless with out faith in the blood of Jesus who cleanses us from sin if we're humble before him.

I was praying all day about 5 years ago for healing for a grand~child. On local TV was a guy I listened to often; who said don't think that Jesus will help you. I burst into tears... then when I actually met him; gave him a piece of my mind. I danced at a ballet recital at the Coliseum in Corpus Christi where Tiny Tim sang. It was maybe 1962. We should always respect who we are trying to resonate with, or it just doesn't work... reduces creative potential.

Thank you Tiny for being so sincere and such a blessing. Howard tried to make light of this but he could have just apologized sincerely and that would have been nicer. It's so beautiful that Tiny Tim always praised Jesus Christ and gave Him credit for so his salvation and blessings.

I am an atheist personally, but I think that Tiny Tim was awesome for putting himself out there just as he was by being himself, having his own beliefs and calling people out on things he thought were disrespectful. I wish I had met Tiny. I admire him so much for not being ashamed of Jesus, and sharing His name publicly, especially as an entertainer. There are very very few entertainers who would do this. Even Howard is sincere about Jesus here. He didn't realize what he was saying when Tiny called him on it. I think Tiny would have been more effective if he had been gentler in his criticism.

We're all sinners, but Tiny Tim was definitely a man of God, and I feel like if he knew, it would definitely hurt him to have his music used in movies like Insidious and shows like Spongebob (Although a fan of the show I'm aware it has many negative influences).

Just because Tiny Tim, who was a wonderful and sincere man with a good sense of humor took offense to what he perceived as mockery of his beliefs and maybe did not express that as well as he could have, it does not make him crazy.
...and I've watched a couple of videos of Tiny Tim on Howard's show and Tiny's right: Howard and Robin both keep interrupting him and shit like that. Tiny was in on the joke--he knew people laughed at him sometimes. He accepted unkind people. But dammit, Howard KNEW the Jesus stuff pissed off Tiny but he kept pushing him. I'm glad Tiny never went back.

No it wasn't. This was in the late 80s/early 90s, and he eventually came back to the show and made multiple appearances (his last being just after his first heart attack in late 1996).

I was praying all day about 5 years ago for healing for a grand~child. On local TV was a guy I listened to often; who said don't think that Jesus will help you. I burst into tears... then when I actually met him; gave him a piece of my mind. I danced at a ballet recital at the Coliseum in Corpus Christi where Tiny Tim sang. It was maybe 1962. We should always respect who we are trying to resonate with, or it just doesn't work... reduces creative potential.
