We just moved to Goodrich, MI, and have a small farm off Dutch Road.
We stopped by the Steiner store in Lennon, Mi, and boy were we disappointed in the rudeness of its sales staff.
My husband took a picture of me sitting in the store and the sales clerk said there's no taking photos in the store! He further went on to say they signed legal documentation to prevent photos from being taken inside the store.
We were berated and made to feel shame... (We won't be going back there again, and they should have a sign that says no cameras allowed!).

It looks like the cute as Rachel tractor is a Fiat 350 DT, DT denoting 4WD.

Nice tractors. I have a MM GTB which has had a Perkins 6354 conversion sometime in its life. That conversion was common in Australia in the mid 60s to early 70s when the petrol motor wore out. It gave them double the power which the transmission seemed to cope with. Lots of Case LAs had that done to them too. Jeff

That 350 looks familiar! We've got a Long 350, which is essentially the same tractor.
The Fiat tractor was exactly duplicated by a Soviet tractor company. Long purchased some of those tractors, rebadged them, and sold them in the US as a "Long 350."
So both the MM 350 and the Long 350 are almost identical, but through very different and convoluted lineages.

I almost bought one of the bigger MMs many years ago. Had an enclosed cab, 6cyl diesel, and a front loader with a snow blade, 450 hrs since it's last rebuild. They were asking about $5k. I would have snatched her up but had no way to get her home because somebody had borrowed my F350. By the time I got my truck back, he had sold her.
so the first 2 were produced in the usa?
the little one is the same as my Universal 445, got the fiat 3 cyl, wish it was 4x4

I bought a Ford 9N, it ran for about an hour and then wouldn't start so I changed all of the fuel system, the tank the fuel line the sight bowl everything changed. Then I got too busy to work on it for about 3 years and I put some gas in it and tried to start it it wouldn't start. It was getting fuel so I went ahead and checked for spark and I updated the spark plugs to I think a 219 with 20 Gap. I looked at the wiring behind the dash and it was pretty pathetic. The previous owner was routing the wires through the original ballast resistor which was not functioning, they had upgraded it to a 12 volt. So I have a friend who's a mechanic he came out and looked at it and it did get spark and it did have gas so we checked the points and the points were fine. Right after I got it I noticed that the old ballast resistor was kind of shot so I replaced it with the ceramic one and my mechanic friend noticed that it was cracked but we tested it anyway with the light and it had a lot of electricity going in one side and hardly any coming out the other ( battery to the plugs) . Before we removed and replaced the distributor cap we squirted just a little bit of starting fluid into the carburetor and it tried to fire. After we removed the distributor cap we sprayed a little bit of starting fluid in there and it would not fire. My mechanic friend told me that it may have lost its oil prime 🤠, so sprayed just a little bit of air into the oil filler tube with a rag around it and a squirt of starting fluid into the carburetor while spinning it over and now it would fire. I looked at the oil and it looks really thin and about the color of gasoline. Also I noticed that even though it was spinning over all that time the plugs weren't even getting any gas on them they were dry. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to order the old fashioned more ruggedly belt original ballast resistor even though it was designed for a 6 volt and hook my wires up to it, I'm going to change my oil and filter I'll put 30 weight in it or maybe even 40 weight with some kind of an oil thickener for better prime. I would really appreciate some suggestions for this 39 9N as to what could possibly be going on and as to what I can do to get it running.
