Hi just built my new outdoor enclosure apart from now adding the warm houses and basking area. I was going to build a wooden enclosure within the outdoor area and use a basking light as I have in the indoor setup but wondered about keeping it waterproof ?? Could you use a large Perspex box and mount the light above (to get right temp) and the seal the entry point to stop any water?? Any help with heating tips for outdoor enclosures appreciated , I don’t have an adjoining shed or greenhouse.
@@tortoise_matters Ok thanks. I currently have 2 spur thighed and 2 Hermanns so was just looking to add another female Hermann. Both different types are kept separately in the garden. I will click on the link provided. Thanks again. :)
Thanks so much for sharing your expertise, Eleanor. I learned a lot!

Rehome tortoise. Doesn't give justice to all the great information in this video.
Hello, Great presentation.can I ask if you have any contact details for additional help with tortoises and possible rehoming? Thanks
Hi Matthew, I recommend connecting with norfolk tortoise club. Www.tortoiseclub.org for rehoming and advice. :)
