The last roll of Kodachrome 64 was shot by National Geographic Photographer Steve Mccurry one of the noted photos was the Afgan Girl on the National Geographic June 1985 he used a Nikon F2 with a 105mm AI-S F2.5 I have attended the exhibit here in Chicago it was fantastic look him up very interesting story there is an abundance of info on TH-cam just put an order in for some of that Ilforcolor cant wait !!!!
I only need 3 films and a box of baking soda. Kodak AeroColor IV, Kodak 5222 (aka XX) and Fuji Eterna 400 (ECN). Both the AeroColor and XX push very nicely. The ECN has unique color rendering and pushes nicely too. The island better have enough raw chemistry so I can process there; otherwise I'll use FEDEX and send the film to you for processing. You need to offer ECN process though.
I think Ava is second because of that portrait but Sierra did win. But all fun stuff. Appreciate all you folks do. John inspired me to go out and get a Fuji GA645Zi and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Totally converted me to medium format. So addictive shooting on that Fuji. All these films, if not made by Kodak or Harman/Ilford, are probably created by InovisCoat/Filmotec in Germany, which I believe are the remnants of Agfa and Orwo combined. Fujifilm is impossible to get so I wrote them off. I am hoping Yes!Star comes to the US. Anyone else making film these days?
All of them took really good pictures in my opinion. But while John and Ava took pictures of interesting things, Sierra took things and made them interesting to look at. Just my opinion.
Sierra will take over this channel!!!! Great Podcast!
My four desert island films would be: Kodak Portra 800, Lomochrome Metropolis, Eastman Kodak XX (5222), and Ilford HP5+

Kodak needs to bring back Panatomic X, ISO 32.

Late to the game, but Kodak E100, Portra 400, Bergger Pancro 400, and then whatever Harmon decides to come out with next (please be 1600 speed color)
Hmm. I have both two rolls of 120 and 35mm I need to send you. Not a snob, the 120 is 3D printed, so it is more geek then snob. 🙂
Of Kodak films to reintroduce; I miss Panatomic-X ISO 32, Technical Pan, and Ektapress 800.
So Kodak decided to raise the price and don’t even develop the films either? 😅
You get the film, but no chemistry on the island
lol, you just mail it to Reform Film in FL.
