  • We all practice Vinyasa Yoga. But what exactly "Vinyasa" means? Is it jumping back and front? Is it Chaturangas? What is the meaning of Vinyasa in Sanskrit? What is the history of Vinyasa Yoga?
    Yogacharya Rakesh explains in brief about Vinyasa Yoga in this Video.

    This is one of the most beautiful and informative explanations of Vinyasana Yoga I've read and I've been researching the topic extensively for the last week - videos, articles, wikipedia and even practicing yoga classes. Thank you for this video!🙏🏼

    At LAST - someone who really KNOWS what Vinyasa means and translates it in a way for everyone to understand! I've watched a couple of videos with people who apparently just made up what they thought the word means.... THIS is why we must insist on more certifications from our fellow yoga teachers. I don't mean any harm to those who teach and are coming from a group exercise background - I truly WELCOME you all - as long as you KNOW what you're teaching. It's not just movement, but concepts, breathing, focus, and the true practice of deliberate movement. I'm still learning myself ALL THE TIME.... and I encourage others to do the same. Thanks for your short, sweet, and informative video!

    Some yoga instructors doing vinyasa yoga on youtube don't really know what vinyasa yoga really is and don't how to sequence,transition into poses.

      There is no yoga style better than others. All are just different from each other (excluding Power Yoga - I am not sure whats that :)

    Is it possible to make a vinyasa class without peak pose?

    • @SamyakYoga
      @SamyakYoga  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is possible. However, you might not see a Vinyasa Class without a peak pose most often.

    As a Sikh ive recently started vinyasa yoga, im thankful your exploanation, as quite frankly the white people teaching this particular yoga are really diluting the meaning and words.
