- This is not Ha Long Bay, it's Lan Ha bay, and today we're doing a boat trip with Cat Ba Local Tours! This was one of the prettiest days of all our adventures. It was stunning view after stunning view, surrounded by large karst formations, clear turquoise ocean water, large fish, great food, kayaking, swimming and so much more!

Did you have to apply for a permit to use the drone? If so, do you need one before you arrive at the country and whether or not it was easy and affordable?
We asked our guide and followed regular drone flying precautions. They have drone regulation which aren’t enforced but they also aren’t possible to follow (applying for a permit weeks before a single drone flight at a heavy cost with no guarantee response).
Where do you leave your cash/credit cards, etc when you go kayaking and swimming?
You can leave them on the boat or take them with you in a dry sack. We always have two small dry sacks for this by Side by Side Gear. Thanks for watching! 😊
Hello! May i know if the swimming spot is feasible or doable for 100 percent non swimmers?
I would say if you feel comfortable swimming in a life jacket yes. But you can not touch the ground so it depends on your comfort with swimming.
What month did you go. I want to go maybe April 2025
We went in June and it was nice but hot so i bet april would be nice :)
