    I got stuck reserving a last minute camp site in a popular campground in Wyoming and I merely stuck a bathroom out of order sign up and suddenly I was wilderness camping😎🤠.... great road trip and I enjoyed the movie CQ!

    When you see lichen growing on a tree, it stops growing where water has been the highest on that tree. I learned this from my husband who has a marine fishery degree.

    I was there when I was 10 or 12, saw General Sherman. We were in a 51 International Metro micro bus, so we couldn't fit on the tree bridge. I remember the tree stump shops, and the fallen trees that people hollowed out to live in. That was in the 70's. Also is that a brake rotor? On the stove? Awsome!

    • @CrazyQuady
      @CrazyQuady  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I drove through the hollow tree years ago in the redwoods. It's a bicycle brake rotor on the stove 😉

    Giant sequoia trees are the tallest trees on Earth today. The name "sequoia" is given in honor of the Cherokee Indian leader Sequoyah (1776-1842), who invented a unique alphabet, teaching his people to read and write. Is protected by Law and is also the name Redwood, Paxton Indian reservation where Grandma Sybil was born!

    It's mind blowing until you learn our senators and governors actually by slices of these beauties for their own personal use while most of us believe we see these trees untouched by man. Doesn't change their elegance and awe it just made me sick when I did this hike and the Sequoia National Forest hike couple hours north of you. Guessing the Clinton's have some sweet tables in their dojos😔
