Thanks for your feedback! I have no affiliation to ASM and obviously don't know what your needs are. What I can say is that most folks don't regret buying it. All the Hydras, and particularly the Deluxe are very flexible, powerful and most importantly musical synths. You can really let your imagination go wild. Plus, if you get 3rd party patches like mine, you can use them to really understand the architecture of the synth and quickly learn how to realise your own sounds too.
I am interested in getting your patches but I wanted to double check. I have a hydrasynth explorer, will these work on it? I noticed in the description you said they won't work on any other current models.
Hello thanks for your interest in the patches. All the sounds featured in this video are for Deluxe only, because they use two layers. The Hydrasynth and Explorer can only load sounds with one layer. However, I do have two banks of single layer Hydrasynth sounds available that will load fine into your Explorer. Hi there, i would like to purchase your Hydrasynth delux multi packs, i haven't had the synth long, just a couple of weeks, i havent really got to grips with the editor yet for importing sound packs, does your multi packs overwrite the preset ones? Or is it possible to create an extra multi slot in the synth and import yours to there instead of overwriting stock ones?
Hello and thanks for your interest in the sounds. To answer your question, the Deluxe has 5 banks of 128 Multi patch slots. From memory I think there are only factory presets in the first 2 or 3 Multi banks. So using Hydrasynth Manager software, you can easily choose, say bank 4 or 5 with empty slots to move my Deluxe sounds into. Although writing my sounds into a bank with factory patches will overwrite them, it's easy to download the factory patches again from the ASM website any time. Once you get used to it, the Hydra Manager software is really useful with the dual panels, as you can always see which sounds you are importing and which sounds in your synth you might be overwriting. If you can , connect your Deluxe direct to your computer or at least to a powered USB hub, to avoid any potential for data issues when transferring. Then you should be fine. Any probs contact me at the email address on the Read me doc once you've purchased.
@synthuniverse Thank you brother for replying to my question, very much appreciated. I will purchase later this evening, I think I will try to import them into an empty bank. I presume your multi pack volume 1 must go into say bank 4 and volume 2 into bank 5? Would this be correct?
@synthuniverse Just purchased volume 1 and 2 multi pack. Looking forward to using them my friend . Best wishes and congratulations on a really great job well done.
@@maydaygoingdown5602 Hey many thanks! Yes you can get all 64 patches into just half of one vacant bank slot. Thanks for the feedback and have fun with them!
Best sounds, best demos, best playing. In the wrong hands, this synth can sound a bit flat- but you bring it to life. Amazing.
Many thanks for your kind feedback - appreciated!
I've had my eye on this synth for a while now and your patches are pushing me closer to the edge in terms of a purchase.

Soother Deluxe starting at 5:54 - Wally Badarou approves (feels like it would fit on Words of a Mountain). Very nice!
Many thanks for your feedback! Yes, it would be an honour if Wally approved - he's great!
