Introduction to Hauptwerk Part 1

This program is presented by the Portland, Oregon chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Overview of the software and equipment requirements for assembling a virtual pipe organ using Hauptwerk. Presenters: Annette Upton and Matt Smith. Annette holds a Ph.D in computer science and works as a computer engineer for Intel Corporation. Her husband, Joe, happily takes credit for encouraging her to launch serious organ studies 8 years ago and continues to aid and abet her musical habits. Matt is the chapter webmaster and publicity chair and former Music Director at St Stephen's Episcopal Church and St Timothy Lutheran Church in Portland, and former organist at St John Lutheran Church in San Francisco.
