Smooth phonics make it easy to blend sounds into words

This video demonstrates a way of blending letter-sounds to make three-letter words (CVCs). It uses continuous sounding, with no gaps between letters. Some children find blending very difficult with gappy phonics. More details are given on www.eptoolbox.co.uk

Thank you. I wasn't taught phonics 20 years ago when I was in grade school. I am now tutoring my child. I started with gap phonics and quickly realized that it wasn't making sense. This video was helpful and I will be able to implement it into my tutoring program.

I commenced teaching my very own son to read at one year old and 2 months. I chose to practice him ways to read a few things even at a really young age by using reading tip despite the fact that I used to be hesitant about this. Now that he`s two years and 4 months old, he can read a whole book without me facilitating him. Research about this reading book by Google. The reading guide’s name is Elena Readoρiz
