There are a couple of famous cats who live in London. The speaker of the House of Commons has just got a new cat and that cat lives inside Parliament right by Big Ben tower. There is also a cat in the foreign office, and one who lives in number 10 Downing Street. They don’t get on with each other!

What a cheerful lovely couple you are. You were unlucky to have such cold temperatures, as it most often it's not that cold. It was good to see that you never let it spoil your enthusiasm.
You should take the Uber boat down to Greenwich, which is amazing. It is a great way to tour the river. The park is beautiful & there are alot of good pubs, also the market. Tourists often don't go & they really miss out. They film there alot, Bridgerton, The Crown, Pirates of the Caribbean. The Painted Hall is the 🇬🇧 Sistine Chapel.
I’d say Thames River Boat cruises are better- local London family run with the most interesting and humorous commentary. Goes the same route from Westminster Pier down to Greenwich but so much better that Uber.
Well done, picking up on Sir Horace Jones. These anecdotes give colour to travel pieces. My first time in Washington DC I got to my hotel late afternoon and they booked me into an evening tour of monuments and landmark buildings, so the next day, I was able to re-visit things I wanted to see more of and not waste time with the others. I reckon its a good strategy for a new city.
Curry chicken sandwich is called a Coronation Chicken Sandwich. You can find them at any Tesco , Sainsbury’s, Waitrose or Coop food store. No!!!! Never go to Winter Wonderland. It is a complete and utter rip off. Expensive. It’s gets so crowded you can’t see anything, literally just a sea of people. The stalls are overpriced tat and the few rides are extortionate. Never, ever go there. It’s just overpriced food and drinks, a couple of rides and stalls of very very expensive nonsense.
Winter is a good time to see London as a lot of tourist spots are not so busy as in the summer. But you need to take care if you venture to places outside London as some tourist attractions shut down for the winter. Many stately homes close in about early October and open again at Easter though some of them open up for Christmas with the house decorated and lots of lights and some have craft stalls, like the Christmas market you saw, too to buy handmade presents.
Except the period around christmas, which is not only full of tourists but also there's an increase of commuters for some reason which makes my travel to work a nightmare.

@@dianeunderhill8506 It’s a damp cold 🥶 though. If you visit the Southwest deserts in the USA it’s very dry and there’s a 30 degree drop in temperature every night. So it’s 80 degrees during the day and 50 degrees overnight. It’s different if you’re not used to it 🤣
There isn't as much vehicle traffic in London because - I would suggest - it's a legacy of the Mayor's introduction of firstly, the congestion charge for entering central London, and then secondly, introducing the ultra low emissions zone. Which, if your car isn't ULEZ compliant, see's you being charged for just being parked outside your house. But the net result is probably less people taking private cars into London.
Great video. I've subbed👍 You mentioned currywurst. Well I'm fairly sure you have got Aldi in USA, they sell them in the frozen section here in UK so I imagine they would in US. They are very tasty. Over winter there’s not a lot of daylight hours. London is actually further north than about 90% of Canadians. It’s not as cold but it’s humid. So the cold in the winter and the heat in the summer can really get to you. It is however only hot for about 2 weeks in summer and cold weather and winter drags on for about 6 months. 🙀
CORONATION CHICKEN sandwich - try one from Pret a Manger If you want to see Tower Bridge opening, you can get the times on the website. Boats have to book 24h in advance, so it also shows the name of vessel passing through
If you like the glass floor, you should try the one at the top of the CN Tower in Toronto. It is MUCH higher! I'm surprised how you are always on about how cold it is there as Atlanta Georgia, not that far from where you're from has COLDER winters!
There's a chief mouser in 10, Downing St (the home of our Prime Minister) he's called Larry and has his own social media accounts , he's much loved and very famous...oh, he didn't like your soon-to-be President (again) cats are good at sussing humans out 😅
Enjoy the Christmas and holiday season market. Those phone 📱 tithers been around for awhile and work for all kind stuff. Lot people use them for work keys or key cards. London looks amazing at night. We wemt handmade events in Pittsburgh so call see people and what make and sell in home city. Bought few things even homemade champagne 🍾 hard cider. Only took few videos very hard all people
My cousin lives in central London and has a cat, they are definitely there but I think because of how busy it is on the roads and walk ways cats tend to stay indoors or just stay close to their homes. If you want to see cats in London then book in with the cat cafe, it’s a lovely experience.
Laura and Fain, it sounds like walking around in London is just like walking around in New York City. Everyone walks fast there and any which way they want so I would assume it’s just like walking there.
A lot of people work in London. It’s a working city. I worked there in different jobs and was always rushing to and from work. I worked in Westminster and used to get so annoyed at tourists just ambling along, blocking the pavements 😂😂😂
i hate to say the whole tour bus thing is the biggest mistake visitors make. For less than the price you pay you can buy a travel card which allows you to travel the whole of london for a day. yes on the tour they talk about the sights but a cheap book about places does the same thing.
What about the food and snacks and things? I feel like Japan was all about the food. Do they have a store where y'all got snacks and food for the room?
If you think that the most southerly part of the UK if further north than any part of the USA excluding Alaska then its never that cold in the UK. On the day I write this the UK has weather warning for snow and ice. Where I live the temperatures is predicted to be 1c (39f) in Thompson Canada which has a similar latitude and slight lower altitude the temperature will be -24c (-11f). We haven't see temperatures that low in England for 43 years
I was also scared about phone snatching the whole time i was there but it never happened whenever i went for the week. And yes that building was apart of Parliament. Im sure when you post these vidoes youre not in london anymore but going to horizon 22 is worth it and you don't have to have a reservation

So the cold in the winter and the heat in the summer can really get to you. It is however only hot for about 2 weeks in summer and cold weather and winter drags on for about 6 months. 🙀
Love seeing you guys in countries/cities I want to visit! I’m surprised at how many different food options there were
The immigrants have had all the cats if you know what I mean.😂
You need to check Richmond and Hampton Court. Would recommend winter but the parks are better in the summer
CORONATION CHICKEN sandwich - try one from Pret a Manger
If you want to see Tower Bridge opening, you can get the times on the website. Boats have to book 24h in advance, so it also shows the name of vessel passing through
Very much enjoyed! Thank you 😊
Beautiful video 🎄 ❤❤ such a magical place in Christmas! Have fun in London 😊 happy holidays Travelspree!!
Happy Holidays to you too!
Love watching your vlog thanks for taking us with you guys ❤
London wasn't always a bike city! They've been working to change it for the past 20 years! We're trying in the US too, like in Philly where I'm at.
You can book entry to museums etc online in advance to beat the queues
Lovely. Well done!
If you like the glass floor, you should try the one at the top of the CN Tower in Toronto. It is MUCH higher! I'm surprised how you are always on about how cold it is there as Atlanta Georgia, not that far from where you're from has COLDER winters!
There's a chief mouser in 10, Downing St (the home of our Prime Minister) he's called Larry and has his own social media accounts , he's much loved and very famous...oh, he didn't like your soon-to-be President (again) cats are good at sussing humans out 😅
Thx for the tip for the tether I will do that anywhere just to be safe with my phone
Only took few videos very hard all people
04:25 THAT is the National Gallery. There is no such thing as "The National Museum". 😜
There is the British Museum tho, which is also cool. 👍
Love England😊
id recommend Covent garden they have nice Christmas stuff :)
We did check that out later!
My cousin lives in central London and has a cat, they are definitely there but I think because of how busy it is on the roads and walk ways cats tend to stay indoors or just stay close to their homes. If you want to see cats in London then book in with the cat cafe, it’s a lovely experience.
Is also the Palace of Westminstee.
YOU 2 ARE GREAT !! ❤
I'm not sure how many days ago this was filmed but it really isn't that cold yet.
Hsve you tried like Yorkshire etc..friendly and Lake District Wales Cornwall Scotland goes on forever..
Did you miss out on the engine room on your tour of Tower Bridge? This is one of the highlights of the tour.
@@WilliamGarrow yeah, we would’ve miss the ferry, unfortunately
another great vlog x
Thank you!! 😊
i hate to say the whole tour bus thing is the biggest mistake visitors make. For less than the price you pay you can buy a travel card which allows you to travel the whole of london for a day.
yes on the tour they talk about the sights but a cheap book about places does the same thing.
For shopping and food markets head to the spitalfields/ Brick Lane area
What about the food and snacks and things? I feel like Japan was all about the food. Do they have a store where y'all got snacks and food for the room?
Did you not go to the Tower Bridge engine rooms too? It’s included in the ticket price.
No, we would’ve missed the last water cruise for the night
@ ah shame. Hope you enjoyed your time.
Try looking for Coronation Chicken Sandwich for the curried chicken.
@@susanletissier9729 thank you! ❤️
What hotel are you staying at? We are going to London in June
The Westminster London
Thank you!!
Will our USA credit cards work over there in London?
@@LJMDad they should. Some places didn’t take AMEX, but we we able to use visa or Mastercard when that happen
We haven't see temperatures that low in England for 43 years
❤❤❤❤ cool couple
I just hope they didn't forget to go to Camden Stable Market
@@trashandcheese3636 next video😉
I was also scared about phone snatching the whole time i was there but it never happened whenever i went for the week. And yes that building was apart of Parliament. Im sure when you post these vidoes youre not in london anymore but going to horizon 22 is worth it and you don't have to have a reservation
Yeah I’ve never seen it happen in all the time I’ve spent in London, still worth being careful but it’s not happening every 5 minutes
The bridge your lot thought you was getting.
