If I won the give-a-way yarn from this episode I would most certainly knit the Shades of Peony. It was my grandmother's favorite flower and I miss her to this day and I'm 70! I think of her so often, especially this time of year when her flowers are blooming. Thanks for being out there, Denise
I would absolutely knit the Shades of Peony shawl. Ever since becoming a The Knitting Place customer I have fallen in love with shawl knitting! Thanks.
The Shades of Peony looks like a great summer knit and the colors you chose are very pretty. Thanks again for your podcast. As usual I added several new things to my to-do list. 🧶😊
I love this podcast! I grew up not too far from your shop on the north shore- and it is so nice to watch and listen to two fellow Long Islanders:)! Really appreciate your discussion of helical knitting in pattern!!:)
I have really enjoyed seeing you ladies more often. Very soothing for my teacher nerves, and informative. I've knit so many shawls over the years, but I almost always fall back on my Color Affection, an oldy but a goody. Stay well, and knit on!
I would like to knit the Shades of Peonie Shawl. Always love the podcasts with all your new ideas. I certainly wish that the shop was closer to me but love the quick customer service makes a good alternative. Thanks ladies. Cindy
I think the Shades of Peony shawl looks like a fun knit!! Also would consider the "Turn Over a New Leaf" shawl...which has been on my radar for awhile. May I say, I enjoy you all so much and live your pop-up posts in Instagram when a new shipment arrives...I feel like a kid in a candy store! The lines you carry are just beautiful! Thank you for sharing your live of knitting with us.💞
Thank you Dina! I was the one who emailed you about helical knitting in the Flores sweater. You’re answer made total sense!! My LYS suggested I just carry the yarns in a “purl ditch” down the middle back of the sweater. I appreciate you answering me! Susan
I really enjoy your podcast! I get so many project ideas and learn so much about yarn and designers. If I win, of course I’d knit the Shades of Peony shawl!
I love watching you both…your so fun. Wish I lived near so I could hang out and knit with you. I would knit the Shades of Peony. Your color choices for the kits are great.
💗ooooooh the Shades of Peony shawl would definitely be my choice! 💗Congrats to Pam reaching this milestone of followers and thanks for such a beautiful kit💗(fingers and toes are crossed here🤞🏼)
Another great episode always a pleasure to watch you ladies you are both fabulous knitters. If I won the kits I would knit the Shades Of Peony Shawl for sure.
I would knit the Shades of Peony shawl. I have not made a Tamy Gore shawl yet and I really liked the pattern when you showed it. Also, the peonies in my garden have just finished blooming and they were particularly beautiful this year!
As I was watching the podcast, I was thinking of a summer tee for those pretty yarns. I am a small size so maybe V Back Tee could work with that amount of yarn. I have that pattern in my library. Congrats to Pam for hitting 1,000 followers. I just checked and you are now over 1,100 followers. Cool!
I would knit the shades of peony shawl. I have only knitted 1 shawl and am working on my second. Loving them. Those colours are gorgeous. Really enjoy watching your podcast. Wish I lived closer to you to visit the shop.

Great episode, you always inspire. Sweaters are more my jam than shawls, just knit The Spector, by Joji Locatelli, it uses 3 skeins of fingering in a fade. I would love to knit it again.
The Shades of Peony Shawl would be my choice of pattern to knit. The shawl looks lovely, and the name reminds me of my grandparents garden which had a variety of pink peony bushes. My grandfather would have been 140 years old this year (born 1881). Although he passed away many years ago (when I was a young girl) , the memories of that beautiful garden linger when I view my peonies that were transplanted from my mother’s garden via my grandfather’s garden.
My fave shawl pattern is the ramble shawl by Andrea Mowry… it’s been in my ‘want to knit’ list for so long 😣 I do love the cinnabar too though; too many choices haha. I always guesstimate which size to make based on the yarn I’m using /: doesn’t always work but someone will fit the item 😅
There’s a much easier way to alternate skeins in the round than helical knitting. All stitches worked and invisible on front and back if the one stitch is tensioned well. I learned it from a TH-cam video by SDIVADesigns and it’s title is “Magical method for alternating skeins in the round”. Give it a try! I hope it helps!
Congratulations Pam. Those yarns are lovely together. The Peony is beautiful as well . Can’t wait to knit it. I watch your blog to stay current on all the newest yarns and patterns. Thanks
If I won the give-a-way yarn from this episode I would most certainly knit the Shades of Peony. It was my grandmother's favorite flower and I miss her to this day and I'm 70! I think of her so often, especially this time of year when her flowers are blooming. Thanks for being out there, Denise
