FDNY Engine 1 **Blaring Q** & 22 Year Old Seagrave Ladder 24 Spare Responding + Emergency Light Demo

FDNY Ladder Co. 24 is currently (At the time of the video recording) using a 2001 Seagrave Rearmount (SL01026) which was originally used by Ladder 176 in Brooklyn. Engine 1 Recently had a Q Siren Installed on the new 2023 Seagrave Pumper as seen used in the Video while Responding.

With the budget crisis Nyc is set to face next year onward it will be interesting to see how the fdny is affected. I think this current batch of trucks could be the last new ones for a few years. May have to hang on to the spares longer.

Rear-Mount Aerials are already on Order and I believe 5 or 6 have already been delivered awaiting to be placed in service. Same with Pumpers still being delivered to replace 2010's. Tower Ladders are on order as well as Tillers so not to sure.
