Wearing fragrance is as essential as wearing a automatic watch and quality shoes, imo. Good point you mentioned about timeless frags... Fahrenheit Boy here :)
Fahrenheit is absolutely not timeless. The only ones who wear it are the older men who wore it back in the day. It smells dated, and definitely not a fragrance a woman would like to smell on a man.
Don't be afraid to like what You like. This is why I recently got one of my all time favourite scents - Darling by Kylie Minogue. This Fragrance actually got me into this whole hobby albeit with a very long delay after initially smelling it.
I'm new to fragrances, I hadn't put much thought into them before. I just thought all perfumes for guys smelled bad. But I tried a couple sample sets and I found something I like. Turns out, I like light, sweet, and fruity scents, and I'm not into floral or really musky scents. Fragrances are very personal. The notes you smell and how it reacts on your skin is unique to you, so you really need to try them for yourself. If you read reviews, they can vary wildly. I ended up going with Sugar Rush by Oakcha. Canadian company, cruelty free and paraben/phthalate free. It's made to smell like the Swedish Fish candy. It's long-lasting and is very affordable! Top: Apple, Cherry, Lingonberry Middle: Pineapple, Raspberry, Muguet, Peony Base: Vanilla, Sandalwood, Musk, Sugared Amber Some people might look at these notes and think it's too feminine, but it's a unisex fragrance and smells really nice! I don't feel like I'm wearing "cologne", which to me is a good thing.
For me sampling ist a huge part of collecting fragrances. I actually one just a couple of fragrances ( 9-ish). But through sampling fragrances you can try a ton of different scents and styles without spending a lot of money. You can also discover whole collections and fragrance houses or even find your new favourite perfume and then you can buy it.
3 that work well on me 1.jimmy choo man(amazing smell and it enhances on my body) 2.YSL "y"(perfect fragrance in my opinion) 3. Dolce and Gabana Light blue intense(summer scent 10/10)
Good job, Antonio, as always. Interesting, though that Clinique Happy is available in many stores and yet hardly ever mentioned in videos of this nature. I like it, and it’s for me, a very light, summer fragrance
It's a great scent, alas it disappears on me. Currently enjoying Futura by Aqua di Parma, but I'm not convinced I've found my perfect green summer standard yet. Any recommendations?
@@Olyfrun my summer fallback options are Bvlgari Aqva Marine Pour Homme, Hugo by Hugo Boss, Azzaro Sport, Versace Pour Homme Dylan Blue, and humble old Nautica Blue.
@@doitjustdoit-ee9ro I haven't smelled the Parfum version but the only room for improvement on the EDT is better performance. I thought Eau Intense Vetiver would be my favourite but the EDT still has that spot
@@wynonasbigbrowndragon6121 parfum Is clean version of eau de toilette. Original has ripe dirty orange scent opening that Is original and that's what parfum lacks
4:24 Singapore in da house 😂 I’m rockin Amouage Reflection Man, Prada L’Homme Intense, Dylan blue, Profondo, Dior Elixir, PDM Percival, YSL Y EDP, Eros Flame during the day. Just be mindful with the trigger in a freaking hot 104 degree weather.
Really great breakdown, I've just started my journey in the fragrance game and have been getting so many samples to try. Some right away that are popular, I'm like this doesn't work for me but others; I'm thinking this one I need to get. I really liked your spray breakdown at the end, it puts things into perspective and at the end of the day if you rotate through a variety of fragrances, those bottles will be lasting a whole lot longer.
My favorite fragrance has to be Tom Ford Noir Anthracite. It’s the opposite of a people pleaser, but it’s such a beautifully blended floral fragrance, and it has all the tropes of many famous old-school men’s fragrances.
Fantastic guide. I also feel it important to mention that if you find your friend's fragrance awesome, it might not work out for you. I definitely picture Antonio with Eau Sauvage: timeless, classy and masculine. Eau Sauvage on me would be ridiculously out of picture and not credible at all. As he said, wear what you like, what feels good to you and most important, be confident about it!
Antonio I wish you would talk more about some real knockout classy gentleman’s fragrance houses like Brioni and Cartier. Especially Cartier. In particular Brioni Intense and Pasha De Cartier. Absolute grown up smelling legends. Did you know Cartier’s caps are based off the aesthetic of their watch crowns? That’s cool stuff man.
Most of my favorite fragrances have a sandalwood dry-down with some other notes to add some variety to what I wear. Depending on how I'm feeling, I might go nuttier, spicier, boozier. Still in search of a more daytime/summer scent to call my signature. Currently lean toward Costa Azzura for warmer, daytime wear, but wouldn't mind some slight variations here and there. Most consistent compliment getter is still some Oud oil I picked up years ago in UAE. Doesn't really project much, but with friends I'm close enough to hug it's a universal "Oh my god you smell amazing" reaction.
WOW WOW BROTHER YOU REALLY HAVE CLASS,I ENJOYED A LOOOOOOTT THIS VIDEO AND ALL THE VIDEOS THAT I'VE SEEN FROM YOU ARE AMAZING😀😀😀😀,GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER!!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️👁️👁️👁️👁️
The perfect scent has to be timeless, versatile and for me as a man, masculine. I absolutely adore A*Men Mugler but it's only wearble in the fall/winter seasons. YSL Y EDP is good but not really mature. I am also not a fan of 'flankery' because many flankers are gonna be discontinued within a while. Stay with the original and you will mostly get a new bottle. So this mostly leads me to classic barbershop or old school kinda scents. Fahrenheit, Azzaro Pour Homme, Aramis, Jaguar for Men, Cool Water... all these are kinda versatile. Often warm in the drydown but also clean and spicy. And because of their masculine scent profiles they boost my confidence. Compliments? No need for them. Women like confident men and even if they don't enjoy the fragrence itself they will enjoy the man who wears a powerhouse scent with confidence.
Hello rmrs I really wanna know some cheap colognes in 100 ml options that smells like after fresh rain or a beach breeze. And also maybe colognes like wood and citrusy smells I need ones with good longevity cuz I’m having school tomorrow so hope you can get to this thanks!!
A cologne that makes me happy in ways I don’t quite understand is Jovan Musk for Men. I don’t know what it is, but it just works for me. I think it is equal parts nostalgia and body chemistry. Every time I put it on, I think, “This is old, flowery, and sweet. I don’t like this, do I?” But every time I catch a whiff of it, I think, “Yes, I really DO like this cologne.”
What is your opinion on men wearing "perfume" oils (roller bottles)? My girlfriend makes perfume oils for men, women, and unisex scents. I wouldn't mind using a roller bottle, but I tend to want to spray on my clothes and body. Do you think more men are looking for that, or do you see more men buying oils now? She makes great scents, and she'd really like to stick to this way of making her EDP's and speaking of the topic of your video; I would hate men to miss out on the fragrance types she produces just because of application.

We all know the boozy apple pie smell of Kilian Angels Share is the king. Good for every occasion. Sexy, unisex, premium, deep, dynamic in dry down, projects like a monster, lasts long…. Just a masterpiece.
I don’t believe in the concept of a ,,perfect cologne”. This is a problem that most collectors have, asking everytime if this or that fragrance is perfect. If you have a couple of fragrances that you like to wear, you don’t need to find anything else.
