I'm watching this content from the United States as I'm a diehard, badass, unapologetic Nigerian patriot rooting for all things Nigerian. Nice video update on this monumental infrastructure project in Nigeria, one of several such game- changing infrastructure mega projects currently going on simultaneously across the length and breadth of our beloved country. Who said Nigerian leaders were sleeping at the wheel? Not with what I'm seeing, not in dreams, but live with my own eyes wide open. But permit ne to make a request however. In order to add greater value to your video presentation, I would respectfully suggest that you do a documentary style presentation rather than just driving along the highway with background music that doesn't give your viewers any concrete information and details about the features of the road, and other information such as the contractors handling the different segments of this giant project, construction materials, quality of work, lanes, drainage, pace of work, completion deadlines, etc; all of which would enrich the video content. Nice beginning though, but we need more info in your next update. All the best.
Wow! Your passion for Nigeria is truly inspiring. It’s amazing to see how much progress is happening across the country, and I’m glad this video could showcase a part of it. Thank you for your thoughtful feedback-I really appreciate it. A documentary-style presentation with detailed insights on contractors, materials, road features, and timelines is a fantastic idea! I’ll definitely work on incorporating more in-depth analysis in future updates. Thanks again for watching and supporting. More informative content coming soon!

Thanks for the video. Seeing a road opposite landmark hotel that I visited 4years ago look like this tells everyone that Jagaban and his criminal interprise and gang of thiefs and kpana Baron can never mean well for Nigeria. Ohh God help us out this criminals in power 😢😢
I appreciate you watching the video and sharing your thoughts. Infrastructure projects like this always spark different opinions, and it’s important for us to discuss them constructively. Let’s hope for positive developments that benefit everyone. Thanks for engaging!
@ Approvals and compensations are separate matters. Even with approval, compensation depends on various factors like the government’s valuation, type of land title, and negotiations. Not all cases are straightforward. You might right though. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
@ichabaabraham valuation is done by an independent body. This is one of the reasons why the blue line construction was delayed for decades. The land owners sued the government for adequate compensation. Edit: the only title that entitles one for proper compensation is CofO, and I'd not invest "Landmark Kind of Money" on any property that has no CofO.
@ You’re right valuation is typically done by an independent body, and compensation disputes have delayed many projects. However, while a CofO is the strongest title for compensation, other recognized titles (like deed of assignment or gazette) can also qualify, depending on the circumstances. Many investors take calculated risks based on location, potential returns, and government policies. you sound knowledgeable about Lagos state government policies.
Thanks for sharing this video. Good to see that completed sections at the Ahmadu Bello end will be ready for commission in May 2025 as planned. Can we start having some public access discussions, or is it too early? Apologies if these questions have been asked elsewhere and/or the answers are already common knowledge 1. How will the general public gain access to beaches (Oniru, Landmark, Elegushi, Alpha etc) once the highway is completed? 2. Will there be overhead pedestrian crossings? Or will beach access be at the entrance gates at Eko Atlantic and other strategic areas? 3. Does this mean that there will no longer be beach front activities in this axis (except maybe for residences/estates who are already on the beach side of the highway, for example Maiyegun Estate at Jakande, etc)?
Thank you for your thoughtful comment and for sharing your insights! 1. Public access to beaches: Once the highway is completed, access to beaches like Oniru, Landmark, Elegushi, and Alpha will be facilitated through designated entry points and pathways. But, Oniru beach and landmark is not promising from observation, not the fact though, the whole place is filled with sound. 2. Overhead pedestrian crossings: Yes, there will be overhead pedestrian crossings at key points to ensure safe access to the beaches. These crossings will be strategically placed to facilitate easy movement for pedestrians. 3. Beachfront activities: Beachfront activities will continue, but there might be some changes in the layout and access points to enhance safety and convenience without significantly disrupting existing activities.
Best video I have seen on the Calabar/ lagos coastal road. Nice one

Landmark definitely didn't get approval for the building, else he'd have been compensated by the govt.

What of the lagos Calabar railway
I’m asking the question even, I look 👀 it, I couldn’t find.
The railway line doesn't follow the trajectory of the road until after Jakande, or is it Abraham Adesanya. Will have to check.
Nice one.president tinubu
Glad you liked it! Let’s hope this project brings great benefits to everyone. Thanks for watching!
