Landmark definitely didn't get approval for the building, else he'd have been compensated by the govt.

@ Approvals and compensations are separate matters. Even with approval, compensation depends on various factors like the government’s valuation, type of land title, and negotiations. Not all cases are straightforward. You might right though. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

@ichabaabraham valuation is done by an independent body. This is one of the reasons why the blue line construction was delayed for decades. The land owners sued the government for adequate compensation. Edit: the only title that entitles one for proper compensation is CofO, and I'd not invest "Landmark Kind of Money" on any property that has no CofO.

But, Oniru beach and landmark is not promising from observation, not the fact though, the whole place is filled with sound. 2. Overhead pedestrian crossings: Yes, there will be overhead pedestrian crossings at key points to ensure safe access to the beaches. These crossings will be strategically placed to facilitate easy movement for pedestrians. 3. Beachfront activities: Beachfront activities will continue, but there might be some changes in the layout and access points to enhance safety and convenience without significantly disrupting existing activities.

@ Lagos has potential to be one of the best cities in the world but I’ve seen other African countries thriving in terms development. The lack of accountably is damaging the country. I saw a video the other about Banana island and I saw open drainage system. This is a place occupants are paying millions per year for maintenance. In the western countries you can call your council to get things fixed within a month or two it’s fixed because that’s why you pay council taxes every month. Lagos is far away from development of drainage system and its maintenance.

I admire your honest analysis, you haven't just showed us an estate without telling us what the approach is like. Please keep it up in the same vein and I look forward to viewing more of your output.
