He does not shout, yet his message penetrates deeply to the hungry soul. Even those who are full still wants to have more.

Masterful, yet humble. Explaining it in human terms not religious terms, so that we could all understand it. Thank you.

Thank you so much to Gospel in Life for making these sermons available. I have listened to pretty much anything that was available before, so these sermons are an absolute blessing.

Wow this is so good and so needed. I'm in the UK and thinking is exactly the same here, it drives me mad because Christians read the Bible with this fundamental assumption and consequently cherry pick what they want to subscribe to

I like the message overall but there is a problem. He didn't expound on what that means for morality. Is the law ungodly? By no means! So the morals of Christianity are something worth striving for it is a good thing to be cofomed to the image of God to the best of your capabilities. But all have sinned and fallen short. Example could someone be an abusive partner and be saved? Well it depends are they actually repenting over it? If no and they unapologetically abusing there partner while being aware of what they are doing, very few people would say that person has fruit of the spirit. If yes and they went from violent screaming matches to minor emotional issues that shows fruit but not sinless perfection and that they still have a ways to go.

It seems fine to reject "Christianity", it's just another religion. I can't agree that anyone rejects the Jesus of the bible, but rather man's interpretation of the gospel, God, and His Word. Paul wrote that one day we'll all know Him for who He really is, and in a moment, we'll all be changed. I think you can find this in Philippians and 1 Corinthians at the end of chapter 15, among various other parts of Paul's letters. In the great confession (I think it's called) Pontius Pilate asks Jesus if He's the king of the Jews, and Jesus responded, it is as you say, and then goes on to say that one day you'll see the Son of man coming on the clouds. I'm lead to believe from this verse, that we only know Him partially now, but one day we'll know Him truly and personally. Anyway, that's my two cents.

In that you don’t believe that people don’t actually reject Jesus in the Bible but rather people’s interpretation of him, does it strike you in any way that the Bible recounts people actually rejecting Jesus himself as he walked the earth?

Pamela, you have a rather loose understanding of the the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). If you will read them, please, you will discover that Jesus was very clear: following him is the only way to God. Failure to follow him ends in destruction. There are no other options to choose to avoid destruction. He is the only choice we have if we are to escape the destruction which is coming to each of us.
He compared people like you who reject him as to those on a wide road - many take it because "it seems right" (funny that you would start your response to the sermon with these same words), but it only leads to destruction. The way to God is narrow and few take it. Here is the verse from Matt. 7:13-14 -
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." - Jesus
And a companion verse from Proverbs:
"There is a way which seems right unto a man; But the end thereof are the ways of death." Proverbs 14:12
Rejection of Christ is not just rejecting another religion. It is rejecting the only one that is True. All other religions lead to destruction. Only Christianity gives you the right to be called a child of God, and only Christianity gives you life forever. Don't make the mistake of choosing what "seems right" 'cause it ain't. Choose Jesus because He is right.
I do hope you will fully consider Jesus again. He is not to be missed.
