I have always been deeply aware of being estranged and alienated in this world since I was a teenager. That drove me to Christ.

Same story here. I'm with you.

"In that day you shall surely die." I now always consider "death" as separation, alienation, estrangement. As Francis Schaeffer somewhere noted, we are separated from God, from society, from friends and family, from our spouses and even from ourselves.

36:25 37:00 "look at your friends, look at your family. They cannot bear the full weight of your soul"
So very true. Great message 🙏

Rachel's tears are the tears of every person who has ever wept over the spiritual inhospitality of the world to his or her deepest desires. Your deepest desire is to have love that lasts, love not ended by death. ~~~ Tim Keller

Love, however, is eternal. The loss is less when you realize you can visit the person who is gone in the place where love is.

Tim Keller always finds a way to preach the Gospel to my heart and point in to Christ and Him crucified. It's beautiful.

I totally get you! I love that about Jesus. He's bringing us home, and we are at home in him. "visit your true home in prayer, and renovate your future home through action." Tim Keller. Xxx

    Thank you for your sermons!
    I am learning so much.
Last week, I dreamt about this being a hostile world and that I wanted to return as the wind was blowing me here.
I received a pair of wings that knew the way home, because I myself couldn’t remember .I could command the wings to fly home or higher so I would pass over the earth faster.
On my way, I flew through houses ,talked to the residents and urged them to open their windows. Some windows were very small and I just fitted through, other windows were stuck and I was in haste to get out, because there was an evil force always trying to catch me,so I prayed and little being turned up to help and push to open the windows.
Once I flew out of the window of my sisters house and landed on my face. I forgot to put on my wings..
I am so eager to get home, but I guess , I am blown here for a reason too.
I woke up with one sentence of a song ( Spirit): It‘s the fire and the wings that fly us home.
I find it amazing that God hasn‘t given up on us and that we are not alone on our journey home. Thank you for your guidance!

Where once was light, now darkness falls,
Where once was love, love is no more.
    Don't say goodbye.
    Don't say, I didn't try...
These tears we cry are falling rain
For all the lies you told us
    The hurt. The Blame.
    And we will weep
    To be so alone.
So in the end I will think what I will think.
No loyal friend was never there for me.
    Now we say, goodbye.
    We say, you didn't try.
These tears you cry have come too late.
Take back the lies, the hurt, the blame!
And you will weep when you face the end alone.
You are lost! You can never go home.
You are lost. You can never go home.
[You will seek Me and will not find Me. Where I am, you cannot come. Jn 7:34]

      Michelle ,
Amen to such! We must remember how God doesn't say this place isn't our home but rather that we have grown apart from God rather than worship Him. One day, God will come to restore the world and make it our home!

Charlie Chaplin's little movie where he's put in this giant bullet and shot off to land on the moon. He gets out and walks around for a little while and then the subscript reads, "I'm lonely."

Wow, this was amazing…. Just what I needed to hear as I feel spiritually homeless as a daughter of God…. I keep telling myself suicide isn’t the answer,, I have to find another way of living and perspective

I advise you to keep reading the bible that will get you out of mind of death. Just hold on Jejus who finally will lead you to the new and peaceful world.
I felt the same way you know
      Now i'm comletly healed 😊

    • @steflondon88
      @steflondon88 ปีที่แล้ว +2

I'm so sorry you have been feeling that way + I completely completey understand.... Been through those feelings twice.... I pray you can go to Christ for comfort and know suicide is very serious - I wouldn't want to face God after doing something so serious - I don't definitively know that he wouldn't forgive, but why take that chance?
Jesus can change anything and take you out of the deepest of despair and sadness. I also suggest surrounding yourself with godly, kind, Christ like people to support you and help you persevere and work through things. Even biblical counselling with a pastor or someone similar.
