Magic is a song to perform. I didn't realize how good of a song it was until I danced that entire song at a festival. Everybody clapped along and had fun with us, it was amazing. I will always have a soft spot for that song bc of that.
But I get your point. Lovesong does feel more authentic. Magic was definitely chosen by the company to please the international audience 😂. But I bet TXT loved to perform Magic.

Say you love me and use me like a drug, those lines signifying that they are needing a distraction even if its knowing that it's just a temporary fix. And yes there are a lot of imaginary, dreamlike aspects in this mv as well as in their others, and I find it so sad actually, that their happiness is not in reality.😭

I think this is one of the reasons they titled the song this way. Also the chacha dance Yeonjun did is referring to Leslie Cheung’s mambo dance scene in Wang Kar Wai’s film Days of Being Wild.
