since you watched three mvs this works quite well to explain how txts content kinda works! txt basically have 3 types of music videos and you watched one of each in this. Title track mvs (like crown) will reference their storyline and thematically follow it but are not directly their lore. B-side mvs (like cat and dog) are pretty much purely promotional and are just fun so there nots too much to analyze within them. And finally txt have "TU" or "txt universe" music videos (like nap of a star) which are 100% lore based and are the main content creating their storyline so they are often very long and packed full of important references and ideas ^_^
Crown choreography is my ultimate favourite kpop choreo of all time, you will love the dance practice, it's insanely good. I can't even imagine how long they practised before the debut. Btw during their cb shows they usually release short animated videos that are connecting the storyline (sometimes in a bit confusing way but that's the charm ^^) Maybe you can also watch them someday :)

this is not that important but it might be helpful (long comment ahead) i'm gonna explain how the storyline flows in txt's discography. the albums are chapters and minisodes. chapter albums - the main storyline minisode albums - still part of the lore but it's a transition to the next chapter the dream chapter: star the dream chapter: magic the dream chapter: eternity minisode 1: blue hour the chaos chapter: freeze the chaos chapter: fight or escape minisode 2: thursday's child the name chapter: temptation (latest cb) when they start a new chapter, they release concept trailers. it's a teaser for the overall concept and vibe of the album. before you listen to the next album, The Dream Chapter: Magic, please watch the concept trailer first! same with the other chapters because it's soooo amazing, literally no one is doing it like them. love the reactions!! i didn't expect that you'll start from the VERY beginning and watch their intro films too. it's been awhile since i watched a reaction to those. i hope you enjoy the txt journey!
Nap of a Star is such a gorgeous MV and song. Totally agree it's feels like a fairytale, like an oldschool fairytale. It's sad the little bits of text aren't subbed, but ot describes the plot at their debut and what's happening in the video. If I remember roughly it says the five of them met under the star and agreed though they were parting ways to not forget eachother or the star, and to find eachother there (or something). But they go their own paths and forget eachother over time, and the star goes out and is forgotten too. Then YJ wakes up with the horns and thinks he's tuning into a monster, so he runs away to hide, the antagonist appears (the two coloured eyes cat - features through their other stuff, and links to BTS storyline too I think). As YJ is running scared, then tried to remove his horns Kai appears and says his horns are beautiful (like a Crown), and they all rock up with their respective flaws (wings, horns, eye, ears, spikey shoulder) and they remember eachother as the star stars to glow again above them. Their story is basically the 5 of them helping eachother and being stronger together, dealing with lifes problems, growing up, the realities of the world, self acceptance, yada yada, but it's told using magic. It's very much Narnia, Peter Pan, old school fairytales, and a lot more. You'll see their style mature with them as you watch more, but they manage to do it totally organically, and it's all super varied in style, but still completely them.

Crown sounds to me like entering puberty with a first crush/love. Puberty is confusing, the body doing all those strange things and all those new emotions (nobody understands me). Cat & Dog seems to go in the same direction. Just wanting to be near someone (but not necessarily near the people around that person). Fun fact: the members were all supposed to open teir eyes at the end when the door closed but "some" of them simply had fallen asleep and they kept the scene. Which reminds me of something Bang PD said: I'd rather have an immature authentic concept from my artists than an insencire mature one. (something like that; not a direct quote) They were young and needed to find themselves first to grow as artists. if I remember corractly Soobin was afraid he was not ready to debut and BH kinda pushed him to. It's not really +U but TXT Universe. The cat is BTW also in the BU (BTS Universe). It makes "devil deals": gives you something you want but at a price you don't necessarily want to pay. There's a popular theory among us queer MOAs and non-MOAs about the meaning of the "Crown" lyrics. It could be about a boy who suddenly finds out he was "different" from other boys (hence the horns) and then he wonders if this other boy who got "wings" feels the same as him. You can imply with the horns and the wings that they might be fallen angels or devils, then you connect it with how religious people treat us and there you have it!
