When I travel, I go to Sephora and get a couple of foundation samples and their cute little jars. I also bring along many samples and cards. I get over the course of the year.
Last trip I took my new Dior Foundation Stick and it was perfect. So easy to use and good enough coverage for my redness. Great on my 65 year old skin. And creamier than the other sticks I've tried so fast and easy to apply. I've tried decanting foundation and either they've leaked or I end up forgetting about them and wasting expensive product when I put away my travel kit. Good travel tips. I always take too much and am trying to be more minimalist so good inspo. When I order from Sephora I always pick up the perfume samples but sometimes want my faves so am ordering the atomizer set.
As a frequent traveler, minis are a must, apart from the fact that they’re so cute!! ☺️ I love how you got so excited with the Rare Beauty blush lol The Guerlain lip oils have completely taken over all my other lip oils lol I feel like they actually nourish and heal my lips!
Have fun in Italy!!! I was there in April.I brought so much makeup that I didn't even use and had to lug around! This is what I ended up using daily. The RMS super natural radiance serum medium aura. With all my city walking and being out and about, I appreciated the minimal makeup cause I didn't want to have that hot sweaty makeup melt feel. And then for cheeks and eyes RMS Maiden's Blush. I had the Butterfly Palette from Hourglass. And RMS bronzer in beachwalk Betty. Diorshow brown mascara. And aquaphor LOL. My lips were so dry!!! Maybe it was the plane? I did take the jetlag mask from summer fridays and that did feel good on the plane. I did wish I had a nice travel makeup brush set. I might have to pick up that hot and flashy! I have the full size
I have travel size makeup brushes that I put into a glass in the bathroom of my hotel as my brush holder. Thank you for showing the Dior warm essentials earlier. Got those and absolutely love them. That lip color is gorgeous on you! Buying it now…
Great video! I’ve found 3 useful items, thank you. I would add sheet masks, or sleeping sample masks, which don’t take any space, don’t weight at all and are so healing when getting sunburn:)
Salt NY! I was able to make a great travel pallet of stuff that can double or triple up. I also save all my minis and sample sizes of skincare and makeup. I travel extensively as my hubby is a professional touring musician and having a dedicated set of travel brushes and mini sizes are a real plus. I take my ambient lighting pallet as well since it serves several purposes as well.
Sofia. Y’all have the best trip. Please have a Lemonchello for me. I need to get back to Italy soon. I miss the architecture and food. Good choices for your trip. Xo ✨💄👄💖✨. Oh I absolutely love the Guerlain lip oil. My favorite.
Perfect timing for my upcoming Maui vacation. I’m actually thinking of challenging myself & only bringing stick makeup products, since I rarely use them in my daily life
We go to Europe twice a year. Just got back from three weeks in Italy My favorite travel foundation is a powder foundation- so easy and flawless. My favorite is the Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Base topped with the Pommist Pomegranate Hydration spray which sets it beautifully I'm surprised you don't review her products more as they are luxury and clean and her powder foundation (Pure Pressed Base with Hydration-spray) can't be beat. If you try it- it'll be the only foundation you travel with
I love the boy Chanel! A TH-camr I am Kai recommended it couple of years ago and I feel in love with it I must get the little pumps for traveling for foundation. I have never seen them before.
Love this video! And I’m with you-I like to play with my makeup even on vacation. Plus you know you’ll likely be in photos and going lots of places.i want to look pulled together according to my makeup style!
Perfect timing Sofia!! 😊 We have 3 trips planned this year, the first 5 day vacation is next week to a Lakeside Air B&B! Some items in my travel kit that you mentioned are the: Viseart Solstice palette, the NARS mini concealer, and the Guerlain lip oil. I also gave the mini WA Face Trace Contour stick in Biscuitt, a mini Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk, an ADORABLE mini Huda Beauty Face Powder, and a very cute NARS Laguna Bronzer / Blush Duo in the same small compact. Olaplex this year has an adorable minis set on Sephora...shampoo, conditioner, and several hair treatment products all in a tiny box. I definitely agree regarding the liquid lipsticks for tropical vacations!!! Melted lipstick is a disaster. ❤ I'm going to look through the others you have listed in case I want to pick more up!
Have you ever done a full review on the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation? I can’t seem to find one I would be interested in how it wore throughout the day, etc..
Fun video! I love traveling with my goodies and wear make each day of a trip. The fun of packing is imagining what you’ll use! I appreciate all of your recommendations and the idea of repackaging foundation. I usually end up taking whatever comes in a plastic tube, and often that’s not even the foundation I really want. Can’t wait to see what you share of your Italy trip.
Sofia, you are such a joy to watch!! I Love my Hourglass pallette and one of my CT 5 pans in Charlotte Darling and its enough looks for me! I always carry my makeup and jewelry so its secure and with me😊. Have a Wonderful vacation!! (Poor Minnie and Luca will miss you)
This video is perfect timing! I am leaving next week. I really needed those tiny bottles. You are right. Every other one I've ever bought was about the same size as the foundation bottle to begin with! I am so excited these are perfect. I can use them for foundations, primers, and anything liquid. Yay thank you so much!❤
Loved this video so much, thanks for sharing!! And I got so excited when you included your top fave brushes as well 😆 For me lately, I’m noticing I just use bronzer in the crease on vacay instead of eyeshadow. For lips, I like bringing a brown, a pink and a red lip liner, with a clear gloss like VBB Ice or Bikini….then I don’t feel the need to bring lipsticks. For brushes, I have to have that BK101 too! And the Hourglass dual-ended brush 👌🏼 LOVE your tip about decanting foundation, I do that with my skincare and it’s so much easier to travel with. And lasts a surprisingly long time for how little the container is!
Yessss I’m def taking my make up forever pallet on vacation with me this summer my oily skin loves this pallet and it’s so airbrushed and perfecting stunning! 😍🥰⭐️
I purchased the boy de Chanel based on your recommendation and girl… I love it! It’s seriously so pretty and wears so well. It doesn’t “last” all day. But I’m not a primer or setting spray wearer so I don’t expect my makeup to do that. I like a more lived in look and man does it still look pretty even 12 hours later. Thank you!
Get the Charlotte Tillbury setting spray mini--it will change your life. And not only is the product great but the bottle is top quality so the spray stays a fine mist and doesn't break, I've had mine since they first came out and keep refilling from my regular sized bottle.
Hi Sofia, Would the Chanel Aqualumier or the Boy de Chanel be replacements for my beloved Chanel CC cream? I know they were out of stock "due to ingredient outage issues," but it seems they only have a color-free option now, and I think it is discontinued. This was my all-time favorite for "foundation" since it had the perfect consistency, color, and buildable coverage with a beautiful finish. I also use CDP Foundation in the pump bottle but it is a lot more expensive than the CC cream from Chanel and I am looking for a replacement in the same type of tube packaging, size, and price range. The color I use in the CC Cream by Chanel is 20. No point in getting Sublimage for the same price as CDP (I am not a jar foundation girl), pump or squeeze-out tube only is my preference. Thanks, in advance! Lynn
I might have missed it in a different video but what cities are you going to in Italy? I’m in Naples and I’m visiting Capri, Anacapri, Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello.
Love these travel tips! Very useful. I'm definitely going to try the RMS Serum. I love, love, love the Chanel foundation. The Vitalumiere Aqua foundation is a long time favorite of mine and very travel friendly due to being lightweight and small. I have several Sonia G brushes but don't like to travel with them because they are expensive and I don't want them to become damaged. I am going to try one or two of the BK brushes for next trip. Also love the Westman Atelier travel stick recs. Have a safe and fun trip.
I ordered that label maker you featured months ago but I am grandma and the technology was just too hard for me. So now I just label blank stickers with a marker - not as pretty but gets the job done and I’m not having a meltdown on not understanding tech products 😅😅
I want that makeup bag! 🖤 And I didn't know anything about that Chanel black foundation for men... I have to watch your video 😅 Are you coming to Italy??? Have a nice holiday! It's rainy and fresh here in Genoa at the moment... I hope you can enjoy a nice weather. I loved this video!!! ❤
Meanwhile I pack all my liquids and creams (makeup and skincare all inclusive) in a quart-sized ziploc bag because I’m a carry-on only gal. That’s why I never buy big palettes or anything with really heavy/bulky packaging
I love re Potting yes those are so cute ! I don’t have travel plans. But my daughter does. I need the label maker. I’m so exited for you did you go to Italy or did I imagine that ? ❤❤😂😂😂
This is such a helpful video! I’m going out of town for a week at the end of July and I’m making a list of goodies to buy. ❤ I’d love to know about your nails! They’re always gorgeous and I miss having longer nails. 💅 I’m in grad school and typing papers all the time but I still want my girly nails! 😂
What witchcraft do you use to keep the kids on your WA minis?! For real, the kids won’t stay one, like, standing in my drawer. I need to know. I bought them for travel, but I can’t travel with them.
I will always take palettes and pencils and toppers and allsorts but inevitably just end up smearing that Exaggereyes Charlotte Tilbury potted goop all over my eyes and calling it good 😆
The one reason why I don't like to use the see-through cosmetic bags when I'm staying at a hotel is that I don't want the housekeepers seeing what's in my bag and being tempted to try and/or swipe. IMO you just can't trust anyone, sadly.
But the question is, is the real thing worth a few thousand dollars more than a luxrul fake? To me, given the lack of lustre quality of modern luxury goods, it really isn't.
Why would you bring that amount of make up to Italy? There are Milani stores and Sephoras all over. I‘d rather buy some local stuff. And all that foundation will melt away anyway in the heat.
I wouldn’t bring all of the make up that is shown in this video. I’m just showing my travel favorites. I like to wear a full face of make up when I’m on vacation and I never find that it melts away. I’m not buying makeup on vacation either
I absolutely love your new setup Sofia!! It's gorgeous! ❤
Thank you so much Charlotte!
When I travel, I go to Sephora and get a couple of foundation samples and their cute little jars. I also bring along many samples and cards. I get over the course of the year.
That’s what I do, too, especially with skin care.

The Guerlain lip oils have completely taken over all my other lip oils lol I feel like they actually nourish and heal my lips!
I love taking my hourglass palette. I use it for my face and as eyeshadow

i got the sephora 100 pt rare beauty liquid blush sample they are EVEN smaller! cutest travel size ever XD

Great picks!

I’m extra, too! Definitely coming back to this video again for tips when I need to pack.
Perfect timing for my upcoming Maui vacation. I’m actually thinking of challenging myself & only bringing stick makeup products, since I rarely use them in my daily life
She’s so cute! I’m so happy for you 😊. I love how you styled it on your shelves!!
We go to Europe twice a year. Just got back from three weeks in Italy

Those mini pump bottles are amazing, just bought them, thanks for the rec, for my family reunion in July and Paris in October!

I love the bk 109 brush have you tried Anisa brushes? I really want to try hourglass blush, but what blush brush would you use?

Great video. Enjoy your trip. It’s great weather over here in Europe at the moment 😍
Ooh have an amazing time in Italy! I visited last year for the first time, and I still daydream about it.. 💕
Thank you!
Do you find the clear plastic of this type of makeup bag yellows over time?
You are hitting on all of my favorite topics. Same girl, same on everything.❤
Love that! 😉
I ordered that label maker you featured months ago but I am grandma and the technology was just too hard for me. So now I just label blank stickers with a marker - not as pretty but gets the job done and I’m not having a meltdown on not understanding tech products 😅😅
Live your best life girl. ❤
I want that makeup bag! 🖤 And I didn't know anything about that Chanel black foundation for men... I have to watch your video 😅
Are you coming to Italy??? Have a nice holiday! It's rainy and fresh here in Genoa at the moment... I hope you can enjoy a nice weather. I loved this video!!! ❤
Yes I am going to Italy soon!! :)
Thank you for doing this video. I'm getting ready for a 15 day trip in Aug and I will definitely be using some of your recommendations 🤠
Is there a dupe for the Chanel Jade eyeshadow since it’s sold out everywhere? I was thinking MAC in “mint condition “?
I’m finding I love a stick foundation for air travel bc it’s not a liquid! 😊
Exactly!
I loved this video. What suitcase would u recommend that’s light, but heavy duty for those Italian coble streets?
Travel safe and have fun Sofia! ❤️
Thank you!
Going on a trip soon will use these tips!
Great video! How do you reapply sunscreen over makeup?
I don’t! There’s really no way to do that. I stay out of the sun or wear a hat
Meanwhile I pack all my liquids and creams (makeup and skincare all inclusive) in a quart-sized ziploc bag because I’m a carry-on only gal. That’s why I never buy big palettes or anything with really heavy/bulky packaging
Great video! 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you!! 😁
Love your makeup kit.
I’d love to know about your nails! They’re always gorgeous and I miss having longer nails. 💅 I’m in grad school and typing papers all the time but I still want my girly nails! 😂
Thanks Tracy! I get them done at the salon. Usually dip powder or acrylic and then my tech hand paints the designs :)
Sofia, what is on your lips in this video? I checked the info, nothing there:)
U look gorgeous 💓💞
I think I mention at the end of the video. One of the merit lipsticks if I recall
Love this type of video
So glad!
I neve take makeup on vacations😊 mayby some sunscreen and lipbalms
what'up~ EEnjoyed,really pro video, have a good day,👏
Welcome in my Country ! Italy ❤!
Thank you!!!
What witchcraft do you use to keep the kids on your WA minis?! For real, the kids won’t stay one, like, standing in my drawer. I need to know. I bought them for travel, but I can’t travel with them.
I know how you feel. You want to pack light ,but you also want to look your very best!
Exactly! I like to feel put together and ready to enjoy the day
I will always take palettes and pencils and toppers and allsorts but inevitably just end up smearing that Exaggereyes Charlotte Tilbury potted goop all over my eyes and calling it good 😆
Just take your SPF, a multiple stick and a sunhat. Everything will have to be kept in the fridge in order not to melt.
I’ve never had any issues. I’m not gonna be on the beach the whole time and it’s not really my style to go make up free while I’m out in public.
Funny..I start out minimal and then freak out that I don’t have what I need. I end up way overpacking 😂
Hahaha yes I can relate
The one reason why I don't like to use the see-through cosmetic bags when I'm staying at a hotel is that I don't want the housekeepers seeing what's in my bag and being tempted to try and/or swipe.
IMO you just can't trust anyone, sadly.
If the staff want to steal, they will go through your bags if they're clear or not.
But the question is, is the real thing worth a few thousand dollars more than a luxrul fake? To me, given the lack of lustre quality of modern luxury goods, it really isn't.
💜💜💖

@@Melissa-qd9dm same for you!
