- The Panda Dunks are easily Nike’s most popular Dunk Low on the market. Pay attention to what everyone’s wearing next time you go to Disneyland or Sneakercon…it’s pretty easy to see that the Nike Panda Dunks are only growing in popularity, in part fueled by Nike and its retailers' countless restocks.
But on the resale market, the Panda Dunks are just as popular. StockX has reportedly sold almost 20,000 pairs of Panda Dunks. Yes you read that right…20,000 pairs. Today Jordan is going to give you the rundown on the best way to clean your own Panda Dunks with the RESHOEVN8R Essential Kit.
After removing the shoe laces and inserting the Adjustable Shoe Tree, Jordan used the Soft Bristle Brush to dry brush away some of the loose dirt from the Panda Dunks. Then she poured two squirts of RESHOEVN8R Sneaker Cleaning Solution into the bowl of water and started to hammer the uppers with the same brush.
Once the uppers were clean, Jordan used the Medium Bristle Brush to attack the midsole and the deeper stains on the tongue and finished off the preliminary clean with the Stiff Bristle Brush, which she used to clean the sole.
The insole on our Panda Dunks was pretty disgusting, so Jordan pulled that out and gave it a good clean with the Soft Bristle Brush, as well as the sock liner and backside of the tongue.
After letting the Panda Dunks dry in the Arizona heat, we noticed that the tongue was still a little dirty…the perfect reason to use the RESHOEVN8R Laundry System, which is great for flushing out dirt from hard to reach areas. Question: I have all the materials that I need for shoe cleaning, but I was wondering what acetone or nail polish remover does for shoes? I see a lot of people doing it and I was curious .
It removes the finish that Nike puts on their shoes. This is normally done prior to painting.
I got some because they're very functional & stylish & they look like skate shoes I used to wear back in school. Only thing I wish they had was more padding inside the shoe

It depends. Sometimes we sell them for a discounted rate in our sneaker store, other times they are kept for more content.

For this shoe specifically it went in the washing machine and we let it dry on our drying rack. However, for the most part we try to soak up as much moisture with our towel and put them in the sun to dry them out.

Panda Dunks crease on the toe box after the first few wears. How did you get rid of those?
We added a Shoe Tree during the cleaning process and while they dried. We also put a Microfiber Towel in the toe box during the drying process to push the leather out and reform the sneaker.

I have a pair of panda mids and honestly I do think they are definitely hyped up but I do like how they can go with a lot of outfits but to be honest the air Jordan lineup is also pretty hyped up but I do like the brand and same with yeezy’s
Man the panda dunks are not the same as Jordan 1s high, mids and lows. They use similar tooling but not the same shoes don’t get them confused. Mids are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to Jordan 1/Nike dunk type shoe. So Ofcourse your opinion on it isn’t gonna be great lol try a higher quality Nike shoe that’s not a “panda” you’ll see the difference.

my friend owns a pair, be careful when u clean the shoe and try not to leave soap in the material of the shoe. It'll yellow. It's a pain to clean but if you're careful it'll come out fine.

I’ve had a problem where on the toe box of the shoe there’s some black stains. They aren’t super visible but you can definitely notice them. I’ve tried the toothpaste method and it didn’t work on these stains. I don’t know where the stains came from so I don’t know how else to clean them. If anyone has any ideas let me know

This Dunk low has especially low quality materials. Don’t waste your money on Panda dunks, they’re actually Garbage. They also crease terribly.

Are they leather? You may have to get a repair kit. If it's cracking it means they're way to dry. So you'll need to get something to hydrate the leather. 🤝
@@polluxtroy69 yea thanks bro I have a few pairs that were in storage and they all got moldy and dry… as soon as I scrub some of the tongues they start to crack and flake off… but yeah I just ordered a leather filler kit from Amazon in waiting on that now to see if I can bring it back… thanks for the help bro
Oh and yeah I’m going to hit it with a leather conditioner before I clean the rest just to hydrate them a little, I’m waiting on some mink oil also…
@@billyblanco6700 yeah thats exactly what you need mate. I've just had a pair of Nike in and all the leather on them were cracking and rough. Couldn't really do much to them in the couple of days I had them. Although they did clean up, the leather being cracked ruined.

They’re hyped because that is the time when people wants Jordan 1s back when they release that time in March 2021. Now I do agree to the point that it is a very sought after sneaker, and even the dunks is still popular. But due to that they don’t get as much buzz like how the Air Jordan 2 collab that are the most trending or other Jordan Retros. Dunks are no longer the main meta to buy the nice sneakers you can buy, basically what this is a shift between what is the most hyped at 2020 was the Nike Dunks Pandas, Grey Fog, etc. In 2022 was the Crocs, Jordan Retros, and Jordan 1 mids and lows right now. Nike is basically manifesting hype between different models. Now i’m not saying dunks are not bad sneakers, hyped is a very different than any terms of fashion. Just take that as how fashion has changed.

@@SINfromPL I like watching other cleaners because they clean shoes on peoples feet that are dirty from daily wear instead of pretend wear that gets them dirtier than any of my shoes have ever been. That includes hiking the woods and hunting trips in the rain.
