Could the fairlead RC bracket be placed below the bumper and the square black nuts on top to better align the angle of the line? Apologies if this is obvious.
This is how the instructions say to install it. I see what you're going at with having less angle on the cable but it works fine like this. I don't think there's enough room to put it on the other side

What size fairlead is that? The one that came with my badland winch is too wide :(
This winch is submarine rated? But seriously, they do well being submerged all the time? Probably going to do the same brand for my side by side
They work fine for me and yes mine are always submerged lol
