I swear, everytime I see rivets on a machine part that needs repairs it makes me want to burn that machine to the ground. Haha Great video, I just ordered this quad and found a functioning aftermarket carb on ebay that I'll be replacing before I even put my boy on the machine. Thanks again.
Use a dremel or a hack saw and carefully cut a groove to fit a flat blade screw driver in and you can take these carbs apart. Then replace with actual screws.
My wife bought one of these for my son. Watching your videos to see what's up with it. Thanks for posting these. Those two bolts on the sides of that old carb, may be able to grind a slot into the head and turn out with screw driver? May not be a big deal to ya, since you have a replacement. But there might some usable spare parts in that old one.

Great video. Thank you for going through the whole process. I feel much better buying one now.
Not a bad bike after I worked the bugs out.

Thank you I have one for my grandson sometimes no spark sometimes. Very hard I guess I'm going to buy a new key switch and carburetor thank you
You’re welcome
Did you check the spark plug
Have you had any more problems 2 yrs later. Would you recommend to people or is this a “NO BUY”
Honestly once I got the carburetor changed out I haven’t had any issues. I’d buy it again
