Haha I knew someone who worked in a specialist cheese shop, first thing she had to do in morning was to scrape all mould of cheese .
I always did wonder if (and I'm glad to see they did in this case, and hope they do elsewhere) the people who put the bags/boxes together do so in mind with things that go together, for example the mushrooms and steak or a little meat and cheese feast. Great bag for sure, I'd be sad I couldn't eat the brie either :D
I think it really depends on the store and the staff. This Aldi knocked it out of the park! Ed did make a point of telling me loudly how good the Brie was 🤣 xx

Finally got an Aldi Magic Bag..... So Off I go on foot at 21.30...... 6 bags of....."salad for the tortoise" Wednesday would be happy. Us not so much, not ideal salad weather... Especially 6 bags worth.

Oh no! That’s so annoying, I’m sorry you got a rubbish bag! I would definitely leave feedback on the app. They’ve kind of missed the point that it’s supposed to encourage you to reduce waste… although you’re right, Wednesday would be in her element 🤣 we’re doing well thank you! Lilith is gaining weight at a rate of knots which is a relief. Hope you’re well? Xx
Lovely stuff, there is an olio app to stop food waste which is similar but the food is free, I haven’t used it might be worth a try.
I did make a fish pie in the end it was certainly good for the soul 😊❤
Ooh glad you enjoyed! I've downloaded Olio but haven't tried it yet. I do like that it will give me the opportunity to give away anything we don't need too. It's nice to have an easy opportunity to give back! xx

Thanks! It depends on the shop. Some release the bags for purchase the day before, some are more last minute. You just have to keep an eye out. They can sell out pretty quickly! I find it very easy to use. You do need to take your phone with you to collection as you need to give them a code and swipe to say you’ve collected it when in store xx

Recommend everyone using this app to rate 1 star the shops that feel like a scam to you.
This should be food too good to go, and many shops have literally meals design for this app prices, its not food to waste, its basically you buying their small portion meals and items for smaller money and have to pick up on top of it.
Oh dear, thankfully I haven’t come across a shop doing that yet but yes. If a shop were doing that it absolutely wouldn’t be in line with the purpose of the app! Xx

Hi, I’m not sure I’m afraid! Maybe if you’re using an old IOS it’s not compatible? I just typed ‘too good to go’ in the App Store and it’s right at the top. Hope you manage to get it working! Xx

I know right! Not that cheese ever has time in my house to get to that state but growing up we would never throw out cheese. I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have seen BBF dates on it either! Waste not want not xx
Your not supposed to eat that meat and cheese selection whilst pregnant, only just seen and it’s 4 months ago but just a mention for all to see, it’s raw meat.

Hi Graeme, sorry I’m a wee bit confused by your comment (I blame me not having enough caffeine 🤣) are you asking if I’ve been sponsored? If so, sadly not! I don’t think Too Good To Go know I exist. I do the app partly to save money (statutory maternity pay is not fun), partly for eco friendly reasons to save food waste. And of course also because I think it makes interesting videos. Hope that answers your question xx
