The boys did attend some variety shows early on but those shows treated them so horribly. They were completely rude and disrespectful to them because BH didn't have the clout that the big entertainment companies had. And all the boys could do was laugh it off on camera as best they could. Some of those shows get me so heated just thinking about it. That's why they stopped going and created their own show instead. They boys had the freedom, support, and comfort to be their true selves. Not only did it turn out to be one of the smartest marketing moves ever but it also gave them an outet to have fun, experience new things, and build their connection with each other and with ARMY. Completely organic.
The black lives matter donation from BTS and army hits me hard when big artist in America still refuse to speak up against the hate minorities experience but these beautiful souls in Korean actually cared enough to speak and act. Not many Kpop artists speak up and these outside of Korea.
I'd never imagine how much seven Korean boys would inspire me and help me on my lowest days. I've been an army since 2019 and their love for music plus their attitude towards social and political issues and their genuine appreciation to us fans make me really proud. 💜
@@HigherFaculty pls react to The rise of bangtan docu-series it has 17 chapters as of now ( continuation series) it is a documentary series from their pre-debut till now.
When they mentioned about who disliked BTS you need to understand how much power the Big Companies had over the industry. When we say they were the outsiders.. they were and still are! And I think its contributed to their success. No other group endured what they did. The amount of pushback was awful.
I became an army april 2020 but i found them in 2019 when im at my lowest point where i shut down all my doors from my family and friends, stayed away from the ppl and locked myself up in my room. I was just surfing on facebook and then suddenly.. A fancam of their concert appeard on my tl. I didnt know it was bts at that time but i still watched it. The moment i heard the song i already liked the beat but i didnt understand what they said except for the "so show me i'll show you" part. So i searched it up on youtube. After i read all the lyrics while listening to the song... I suddenly burst out my pain and sadness while crying. I didnt know someone like them whom i havent known before would make such kind of impact in me. Magic shop and bts were the one who only comforted me when no one doesnt. And thats how i became an army💜 I stan because of their music and genuine love for their fans and i stayed because of their personalities. It made me love them.

BTS' success was more difficult and difficult than you thought. There has never been a top tier group in Korea except for singers belonging to the big 3 companies. SM, YG, and JYP have dominated the field for 20 to 30 years, and singers of these companies become stars from their debuts. Of course, the starship was also guaranteed because the trainees of these companies learned vocal training, dance by famous teachers and even foreign language and interview skills. On the other hand, all of that was not adequately provided to BTS. BTS really captivated people's hearts with their talents, efforts, and personality. I really love them.
Agree! I wish that I could make videos. I'd do album breakdown videos. It's a lot of work, time and research. To make it high quality, you'd want to find as many quotes and interviews by BTS themselves about the creative process and lyric meanings. I can see it in my head, but I can't create it. It would be so useful to ARMY, especially newer ARMY.
The Rise of Bangtan is a great documentary series about BTS start from before debut and continues on and not finished yet as they haven't gotten to 2021. Also gives some incite into the world of Kpop. Their vlogs before debut and later are also included which show some of their concerns. This is very well made series and I hope you do it. I think you will like and would love your opinions of it
I have grandchildren that love BTS so much. Ages from 9 to 13 yrs old. I am 65 yrs old that love these precious boys. I've been a big fan of BTS since 2014. I love their music, their personality and very humble boys. I love BTS so much! 💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜
I was in such a dark place coming out of a abusive relationship, had to leave with 5 kids with nothing to my name. My being was completely destroyed during that relationship of 14 years, I hated myself and everything about myself as a person and a mother. I found BTS in 2016 and they have helped me on my journey of repair and self love for myself again, they helped me find myself again and healed a huge broken part within myself. I wouldn't have made it especially without their love myself series, that pulled me out of the dark and I started to have hope and believe in myself again. I will forever Love these men and their music and Stan them for the rest of my days and I am forever in their debt for saving my life. I am still working on things but I am in a much better place, I am going to school, have a car and things are coming together. When I doubt myself I am reminded I can do it and have confidence because of these beautiful human beings KN, KS, MY, JH,PJ, KT and JJ! 💜💜💜💜
i was a fan of several alternative and new wave English artists for years before I became an army in 2017, but I've never been this invested like I am now with BTS. it's been 4 yrs now and I never once regretted stanning these humble and genuine boys.
I never feel like this when I like a singer like I feel with the boys. I never meet them but they make me feel so close like a family. I don't know why but that is how I feel about them. Their attitude, their personality, their message and everything they did are amazing, something I can learn and make my life better.
RM once said that he still has trauma cz when they were rookies & attend some variety shows, they didn't get respect. The big industries treated them badly. So, we know how bad it was, when a strong man like RM even still has that trauma until now.
@@ilikehatecommentsmorethann5825 @BT67 yes I did. But I hope that the creator will put some interview, like when Suga's friend told to media that Suga once paid his hospital fee, even when they were trainee & he needs that money. Or, how exactly "mistreatment" they went during the rookie days (i read it in an article, but I forget if that chanel already put it in their content)

Yes...thank you for now seeing BTS in a brighter light. I have always admired you guys in your reactions to BTS previously, but also, I admire your expertise and knowledge in music as well as your wisdom and empathy and heart to others. However, I have always wished that you could have seen them in a more deeper way much earlier on, and now that you have seen this BTS Introduction, it's great that you will be able to appreciate them more in further reactions to other songs from them.
I just started watching your BTS reactions and I absolutely love this BTS journey you guys are on! in fact watching your BTS reactions is why I decided to subcribe to your channel. Props to you both for deciding to learn their back story! They are so special! #Respect
One thing you have to understand, the Big 3 have their hands/investments in other avenues of Entertainment such as news media, variety shows, award shows, they had a lot of say in commercial contracts (their company artists were used more than others), etc. The industry in their home country tried every way possible to keep them down. They had a live world interview for an album release, reporters from all over the world were there and a specific reporter stood up and asked them about plagerism accusations from years ago...later it was found out that a reporter with the same name was actually a reporter from one of the Big 3 company entertainment news site....Coincidence...I think not...I think it was a setup with an attempt to embarrass and create a false narrative.
i think the "people of power" is more than the media because in their earlier years they made a lot of political songs. there are lot of songs criticizing the korean society, education system etc.... Also in their song " am i wrong", it had extremely political undertones including stuff about their former president and they were in a danger of getting blacklisted by the government( A lot of people who spoke against her at that time got blacklisted by the government).
They still live together but now in a big new house where all 7 of them shared. They are still humble like they do their own cooking, cleaning etc. In their shows Run BTS and BTS Bon Voyage you can see a glimpse of their daily lives. They are happy hanging out together that they feel sad when one is away. And whenever they are with their respective families they miss each other and would find their way back to their shared house.
The docu-series are all unfortunately, paid content. But trust me, it's all worth every penny. They have 3 series up to the moment, which each consists of The Wings Tour, Love Yourself Tour & Love Yourself Speak Yourself Tour. The titles are Burn The Stage, Bring The Soul and Break The Silence. You don't have to react to each one of them, but it's definitely showed different sides of them that you can barely see in their MVs. You won't regret it, I promise you 💜💜
