Asterios really depends on the skill and tactics of the Master. One trick would be to ambush a Master/Servant pair with his Noble Phantasm, have the enemy Servant appear on the opposite side of the labyrinth from you two and the enemy Master, and immediately attack the disoriented Master before they can realize what happened. If you arrange it so that you, Asterios and the enemy Master are in a relatively small dead end (with the enemy Master's back to the wall), you increase your chances of killing the enemy Master before he/she can recover and summon their Servant with a Command Spell. Even better, even if the enemy Master can summon their Servant, said Servant is now trapped in a small dead end while having to shield their Master, which really helps Asterios pin down more agile enemies.
Here is My Plan if I managed to summon fluffy boi for a Grail war. First I would try to see if I can get him to keep a single part of the labyrinth the same as a base of operations should I need to wait out the masters and their servants, Then I would have him drag any Master foolish/cocky enough to try to kill him, and 3rd if it seems like we may loose or are at the finish line of this war I would try to enter battle with the previous Master INSIDE the Labryrinth Using the Minotaur, as That would be an incredibly powerful last stand before using a command spell to revert him back.
Asterios is a bit of an oddball berserker given his gorilla deck with his Arts NP. While his damage his good, he REALLY would have been better with a QAABB deck. His Arts NP just straight up neuters most enemies in the right setups, but the problem with him is that he has no optimal way of charging his NP outside of NP batteries from support. As a result he's mainly a gorilla beatstick who doesn't do that much damage without critstars and can easily just be knocked out the turn after.
Idk bout that. Give fluffy some grails and give him a CE like before awakening he'll get decent health, 50 defense and good attacks. Since he's so tanky you'd actually want him to be hit so he can take advantage of berserker defensive np gain, use his NP and make you and everyone else tankier.
When you say weaker than asterios, do you mean that in a physical, "I'm on my last legs" sense or that their spirit origin are just inferior? Because if it is the former, you could play the scavenger game and wait until the end of a battle to pick off any remaining masters/servants

Yea, about where I would’ve put him, maybe a C+. Not happy about putting him there because I like him a lot, but hey.
