The part about the UK's malaise was very good, I think Tyler Cowen has changed his views on the topic somehow in recent times. Is there a transcript somewhere?

Thank you - he was still quite bullish overall on the UK?
You should just be able to get it from YT if you click the three buttons at the bottom right hand side?

I love this podcast so thought id offer some constructive feedback however I am a huge fan so please don't let this feedback discourage you. The content of this was good however in regards to listenability it was one of your worst podcasts. The rest all felt very conversational however this one felt like a GCSE languages interview. There was no free flowing conversation and was just asking a question and getting an answer and then asking a follow up question. I think it would have helped if you talked more and gave his own inputs as well so it's more like being a fly on the wall of a great conversation rather than listening to someone taking a spoken exam.

Thanks for the feedback, we all must strive to improve and our best opportunity is to do that through feedback.
It is always a bit of a challenge with a remote interview to make it feel more conversational, I think the second half of the interview, from 33:10 where we talk about the UK, I offer far more inputs.
As a consumer of podcasts, I can get a irritated when the host tries to push themselves too much on the conversation, particularly early on in an interview.
So don't worry I am not discouraged, and very much appreciate you commenting and I hope you stick around. Jimmy
