All you can do is just watch riders pass you while you're stuck on slower wheels. Congrats on the win and another great video and commentary.
8:50 in: "this is the mistake I make, I should be following...". Hm, wouldn't the mistake rather be just prior to this, when you kept the speed low and invited attacks? Would it not be smarter to keep the tempo high and regroup, rather than spending energy chaing with 3k to go?
8:13 mate you are at the front being around 3 laps from the sprint - instead of slowing down and not doing anything with 150watts you should have keep speed up with 250-300w and simply wait for your team to join at the front and form a lead-out train, in that train you would be able to rest for some time before final sprint idk what you were thinking... 😄

Hey Jeff, I notice that you use glasses when you're not riding, I was wondering if you use prescription lenses in your sunglasses when riding? If not, do you just deal with it because your vision is not that bad or do you have another solution? If you do, where do you get your sunglasses?

That overlay was completly awesome. For so long I wanted to see the difference in power in real time between riders in the leadout!
Not to plug another channel but I have seen a lead out on TH-cam where you can see that from another elite group of riders.
And the intro going straigt into the start of the race and commentary start - very nicely done and pro production. Noticed and appreciated.

Looks like the same Santa Cruz course we used to ride in the early 70’s. If I remember correctly it was Bob Tetzlaff who discovered the course.
