Same reason there are still therapists working for them. They pay. But it's good to spread the message that it's just about the worst therapy platform out there on a lot of levels.
Het remember you analysed the race of Frank van den Broek 3 years ago? He's riding his tour debut right now. You said it already, that he's gonna be a world tour pro!
I did this race earlier that day without rain. Despite being very confident in my cornering ability, that steep off-camber downhill portion was absolutely terrifying EVERY lap. Thank God it was dry for my race lol
@@adamweb Just watched your video showing your bike. It’s beautiful! Paint job is ultra slick! Looks really fast too! Why is it polarizing? People jealous you got all that bike for half of what they paid for a Pinarello?
@@shepshape2585 hahaha thanks, the complaints I’ve heard the most are it’s “too heavy” and people hate the limited turning radius. It’s still a fantastic value for the price and I’d buy it again!
@@adamweb I live in Florida, where a bike like that would be perfect. Long, straight, flat roads made for an aero or TT bike. If you lived in the mountains, maybe not the bike I’d choose, but it’s dead gorgeous in any case.
You guys know that you don't need to pump tubulars to the max? actually cyclocros guys like tubulars because they stay on rim even without air. remembering pros like those on paris r. and vittoria corsa tubular and tubeless is basically the same tyre. the same for challange and veloflex And you don't get a pincflat on tubulars. it's also one more mistake you did. they are less convinient but if you ride rim brakes they are safer and way to go. just so many stereotypes in your heads. or and the last thing you can add sealant to them just in case to protect the wheel from small glass and stuff. just do a proper test video, with low presures and normal wide tubular rim. and 28/30 mm tubulars
There are a lot of excuses in these videos with Will. A noodle bike, rim brakes that don't brake, tubulars (the go-to tyres for pros for decades mind you) crashes of others, etcetera. Also notice how a 2018 bike becomes a 2015 bike. A lot of things get exaggerated to make things look better than they are.
Most of the above is true but you can pinch flat with tubulars, and taking crit corners with very low psi on tubulars isn't exactly fast, especially on wider tubulars that will move all over the road.
Everyone else in the race is rocking tubeless at 60psi. Lower pressure = more traction. To be fair. It was sunny at the start and not many people expected it to rain…
Please keep it real. They didn't average 51kmh nor did they do 35mph for extended periods of time. I understand that you want to talk it up, but keep it at least somewhat realistic.
Hey Jeff… Wasn’t sure how to reach out to you… There is a You Tuber out of England (The Watt Life)… He has been posting some fun Videos to watch. He has just started to get into Racing, and I mentioned You and your Channel in his first Race, and “He Mentioned You” in his second Race (and what a Cool Course they were on, and Big Crowds)… Anyway if you have the time give it a look, and see what you think? 👍🚴♀️🚴♂️🚴♀️PS He also loves his WinSpace 👍
ok got the audio issues worked out, we can hear Will now 😅
Willllllllllllll
Jumping over the manhole around 2:06 of the video - pretty cool.
I noticed that too, I need to learn to do that
Seeing Oakley parts explode everywhere in that slow mo was insane!
Will is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic work keeping it upright, dang!
11:19 - That drift save from that guy in the rear cam was awesome. Hope the guys that came down are recovering well.

Well done for making the break then keeping it upright in the rain Will.
I appreciate how you explained how to manage a hill. Since I don't race, I never gave it much thought, but it makes great sense now.
Ouch, that dude hit the deck pretty hard. RIP Oakleys....
Nice bike handling by Will with those rim brakes in the rain (carbon rims too?).
I keep wondering, 'Worse Help' sells user data and has terrible professional vetting I'm told, why take sponsorships like these?

Excellent racing, Will!
Really appreciate the Kph shout out haha.
i know right! haha, i dont have to keep pausing and calculating the conversion
You guys know that the Km/h is right there in the lower right hand corner of the screen, you don't have to calculate anything, right?
@@andrasszabo1570 yeah i know, i was just referring to some of his previous videos didn’t have km/h so it’s nice that he mentioned he’s added that in.

It would honestly be interesting to see a video of you at Hellyer Velodrome trying fixie riding. Just a suggestion 🚴👍
Glad you got a new bike Will 😎
Someone sponsor Will with a proper bike, please!!! Rim brakes and tubulars are hard to bear.
wow 0 bpm! being dead and avoiding those crashes is surprising! 💀
Awesome Race Will !!!! Way to Commit to making the Break, and what a Cool Course 👍🚴♂️🚴♀️🚴♂️
Those Ribble bikes and kits are sick. Absolutely love them.
@@shepshape2585 I have the Ultra SL R without the rainbow paint job. I love my bike but they are extremely polarizing!

One would be hard pressed to design a more dangerous activity than amateur crit racing. I can't believe I used to do this regularly.
Definitely was on the side line for this race and probably have some photos of Will from this race.
The chaos behind him in the crash was even worse.
Jeff don't give a iiiiiish about the BetterHelp problems, he gettin the bag 😂
I burned through the heels in my Giro Shoes with a similar stop at the end there,
Where is the insta360 video tutorial? :)
Great video.
Ten seconds in and we're already mangling mph to kph... 😂
30mph is 48kmh, ie divide by 5 multiply by 8.
Are we going to get any footage of Will from ToaD in upcoming videos?
damn that dude slammed his face on that crash and got ran over by his teammate lol double whammy

I miss seeing footage from Jeff that isn’t Alviso, but will never say no to race footage from Will!
Can anyone tell me where to buy those socks worn by the Ribble rider, I need those, I feel they will make me go faster
I noticed this video is not taken with your insta360 camera. Any chance to use it again in the next video?
yes
So please explain to my why using tubulars were at fault for this race?
Everyone else in the race is rocking tubeless at 60psi. Lower pressure = more traction. To be fair. It was sunny at the start and not many people expected it to rain…
@@Biketeez So all those crashing were rocking tubeless at 60 psi and clearly were overconfident?
@@Biketeezfool low Psi means more effort and less speed and less turn control
@@l.d.t.6327they were fools to ride at low psi
@@l.d.t.6327 pretty much. That and tired people make more mistakes. That transition off the hill allowed no room for error
Noticed 4 or 5 policecars for a somewhat non-important race. Is this normal in the states?
yes, usually required to get the racing permit (road closure, emergency response, etc.)
I would be smiling whole week if I could just sit in the back and average 30mph for an hour
30 mph is 48 kph
will's crash has nothing to do with tubular hahah, he just go scared of the other riders crashing and completely missed the corner.
Please stop working with BetterHelp
