This exact truck was my first vehicle. I bought this truck (with my dads help) in 2005 when I was 15 and drove it through high school. Traded it to my brother, he drove the hell out of it, then he sold it to someone. Pretty surreal seeing it on youtube over a decade later. If that truck could talk it would have stories to tell.
Drove my Dad's 1971 C10 pickup (with a seafoam green body and white cab) in college. It had a 350 V-8 engine that purred like a kitten. I LOVED that truck and wish I still had it. It had the huge steering wheel and simple punch button radio. Rode in the back as a kid (on the freeway no less) with my hair flying. It was the most freeing feeling in the world. I can still hear the buh buh buh buh buh buh sound out of the muffler. If you get to choose a truck in the afterlife, this one's mine. The license plates were LLX 321. Had a huge battery. Could leave my lights on during class and come back out and it would start again, no problem. Had a spare tire on the front and would give people a push who were stuck in the snow. Loaded the back with sand to keep from sliding. Seriously guys, I MISS my truck. Love your video!
2.5" or 3" Exhaust from the headers or Extractors all the way through into a nice set of Mufflers sound the best. 2 an a quarter doesn't come close but all depends on what type of sound you're going for. It definitely quietened it down a little. Great video thanks for sharing.👍
This is perfect. Just picked up a '77 with a 350 a few weeks ago. It only has headers right now, and as good as it sounds, its just too damn loud for long drives.
Where is this truck at now? I had a friend in high school in North Alabama and we were cruising Friday nights back in 2005-2006. Same paint, Dakota digital gauges, I remember it like it was yesterday.
y’all should do this set up on the next person asking for true duals on a hemi be curious to see how it sound. some of those straight pipes sound like a$$
@18 RLX Vibrant 7 DCT they have a nice sound too I like the borla atak I have a 07 Aspen 5.7 hemi I'm going to long tube headers on there with high flow cats

It had different wheels and a different motor when I had it.
It also didn't have side mirrors.
Rustin_Cox 728 - it seriously made my day that you shared this.
How many girls have seen the inside of that one? Haha

I just found your channel searching for the right sound for my 07 Ram 1500 Hemi. Every video on this channel sure is exhausting.
True dual with x pipe 3.25 high flow cats long tube headers with cam on my 2021 6.2 ram trx
I like that true dual exhaust setup. It also had tone and aggression.

The driver side muffler is on backwards
Missed that the first time watching.

I want to hear it up to 4K RPS but they never really step on it unless they’re leaving but then you can’t hear it too well.

Hearing damage hazard. But I don’t care I did a muffler delete on my 350 too.
Look at that hack job on the diffencial lmao
First comment! Love this channel!
Open headers will always be the way to go on any v8, this guy probably couldn’t take the volume though.
Them rims don't look right on that truck
Uhhh...no!! 0nly 40 series for this truck.
Take such a classic truck and put those horrible low rider wheels on it. What a shame.
Sounds like crap
@18 RLX Vibrant 7 DCT you don't like the 10 series
He should of done Magnaflow lol
