I guess not many countries do caning as a corporal punishment now? I find it rather fascinating that it is that notable. Also, Malaysia is one of the few countries in the world that still carry out death sentences, almost exclusively by mandatory hanging. Fun fact, the 'mandatory' means that the hanging must be done in a way that ensures the swift and total death of the inmate, since one convict who managed to survive the initial hanging had to be set free since they had practically carried out that sentence. (Though, I'm not sure about the veracity of this fact, so correct me if I'm wrong).
And of course, MH370 and MH17, the two tragedies that brought Malaysia into the world's attention, in a very sad way. My condolences to the grieving families

I have one fact about malaysian..My teacher at school once said that malaysian toungue is special because malaysian can talk in other languages perfectly if without a slip of toungue...they just need to learn the word and they can perform the feat..

Every time I heard about Malaysia, it reminded me of the amazing haze weather...sponsored by the greatest neighboring country; Indonesia. Can't wait to visit Malaysia again because of the haze...Indonesia rocks!!! Keep on burning the forest fellas and do claim as much as you can of the Malaysian cuisines...Indonesia is the greatest country in the world...I guess that's why there are lots of Indonesia workers in Malaysia...perhaps they wanna share their expertise and skills ;)
Its always funny to hear mispronunciations of malay words, though it would be nice if people who talk about malaysia learn about malay pronunciation. Most peole try to follow german, spanish etc, so it would be a nice touch to hear a european or american pronounce malay words properly.
Other than that its a nice video, great to see malaysia recognized, but you excluded Lee Chong Wei, one of the best badminton players in the world in your famous people list, and i dont understand how a tragedy is considered an amazing fact

It's not pronounced as "air" Bandung. It's only spelt that way. The right pronunciation is "ay-yer", where the "a" is "ah" not "ae".
For "cempedak", the "c" here has a "ch" sound. As in "check". So it should sound like ch-empedak.

commonly....we know that the pronounciation of C in english are simply as close as K in malay...for example...car....in malay..we used to pronouns it as kereta....here is another one...camera...in malay..we used to pronouns it as kamera...isn't close?...not statisfying enough?...check this out...how do you pronouns cake in malay?...kek isn't?...so..no doubt tht they will pronouncing our languages wrong...but...you need too understand their situation..if you behave like this...swearing to him...just because you are malaysian....doesnt mean tht you will be speak fluently as he DOES...
