would love this, make people have to sacrifice 200 stat points to use really good weapons, making them basically have to dedicate a build for this weapon specifically. would add more build variety and combos.
Imagine if the purple cloud adapted with your highest scaling weapon. Having high heavy makes it a great sword, med the katana and light a dagger and you could swap between them if you meet the requirements for a like crazy slots build

Now since no naginatas are in game use a katana and when you are low as a last resort samurai switched to martial arts which in deepwoken you can do with a fist style. This is just a recommendation so try it if you want. keep up the great content!
I feel like the only attack that feels unfair is the thing where he does the 2 slashes then big slash (If that's a good enough description) because it has little to no wind up, and hyper armor, so if you aren't on your toes (hard for deepwoken players) you just get mega punished.

I think the word climax would be a better word, Crescendo is a musical term, its used starting at a pitch, then lasting however it should last. Its more of a steady increase of volume or a sudden sharp turn in volume, depending on the song and director's choices. Your choice in using the word crescendo is not wrong, but I think it does not match fully what you thought it meant .

if anything dual scaling is just a straight up nerf. Should instead allow weapons to scale with either one.. maybe doing a quest specific for your weapon type or legendary weapon to switch it would be cool to see, Like curved scaling only med or flare only int.
