Another great review guys! MSC World Europa looks incredible, can't believe how HUGE she looks! Totally shocked to see that the LED screen and other elements have already developed faults, such a shame!
Hey gentlemen as always thanks for watching. Huge but surprisingly easy to navigate. Yes to be fair a few things like screens going we were disappointed in! In general we loved her, but with some small adjustments she could be even better!
Great review. We loved the ship but do agree on the points you made. The embarkation in Genoa was terrible and agree they need to change that. It was also lovley to meet you briefly on our last night. good luck with the channel you are doing a fab job :-)

This is gonna be my first cruise for my honeymoon in June, thanks for the review. We were looking for a quieter cruise, so looks like entertainment will be fine for us.

Thanks for another great video! On the surface it looks like a great ship but seeing your experience, I don’t think we’ll be in a rush to sail on this one. Your embarkation experience was interesting. Puts us off boarding in Genoa! They’re probably not equipped for such a big ship
I was just on the World Europa and you overlooked numerous aspects of the ship such as the various kids programs and facilities, multiple pools (6, one indoor) and hot tubs (14), host of creative bars and lounges serving craft drinks....coffee emporium, Elixer Mixology Bar, Gin Bar, Masters of the Sea Pub, Rai Polo Tea House, Zen Pool Bar. Dolce Vita Bar. I had the drinks package and the average price was $8-$12. Also, sail away parties aren't practical on MCS since passengers embark/disembark at almost every port. Sounds like you had a bad Cabin Steward which isn't the norm. I've been on 50+ cruises the past ten years.

As we said these are just our views and this was only a 4 night cruise this was a broad overview of what we thought of the ship, we didn’t include the kids aspect as we didn’t use those facilities but did mention there was a lot for them to do. As I said this was a very quick snap shot of what we thought and totally get everyone will have their own opinion (good job as we’d all be fighting to get on the same ship lol). As for the bars yes they have plenty however finding somewhere to sit was an impossible task on our sailing. Yes I get that they have people boarding daily however they could make it a bit more of an event on sail-away, and yes 💯 on the cabin steward we were just unlucky (currently on anthem and he’s been amazing! Once again thank you for watching and glad you enjoyed your cruise 🙂
You most certainly can use your drinks package in the specialty restaurants. The only one you can't use it in is The chocolate place. And BTW a can of coke on Celebrity is $6!!

Going on our first cruise from Barcelona in two weeks. Will keep an eye on the comments here to see if things have improved by then. When exactly did you go? You mentioned the change of crew, was it the first time the ship did the Mediterranean circuit? Would explain some of the staffing problems.

Ours was the first med cruise so was full of MSC staff and press so think that effected it, was also only four nights, seven would of been better to get the proper experience that you will get. My view is though whatever the ship your always enjoy a Med cruise in the summer. Look forward to hearing your view
Can I ask a silly question? Looking at the internet packages, they all say 'per person' but if I get a package for 4 devices, what's to stop that from being 4 mobiles for 4 different people? I just want to be sure that it won't limit me to one phone number and three other devices like laptops, tablets etc Just crossing all the T's and dotting all the i's.
Hi, so I would say when you get onboard go to the stream desk on deck 8 we think on promenade, they are super helpful and will set up for you and explain it all. Sorry can’t be more more use.
We just got off the World Europa 8 day cruise from Barcelona and back to Barcelona. Nickel and dimed at every moment. What is supposed to be included did not at all match up with what is really included. We found the ship beautiful, but the extra fees for virtually everything and the level of service was at times offensive. We will never go on another MSC Cruise again. We have sailed with many other lines and have paid similar prices, but we have received much more with the other lines. This is a typical Italian-style level of service. It’s awful overall. We completely agree with the video overall. We way overspent on our misguided vacation and could have easily gone to a resort in Bora Bora for about what we had to spend on this vacation. Overall, it was not at all worth the price at the end of the day. We both think MSC sucks as a cruise line and DO NOT RECOMMEND as a vacation. We give MSC a 2 out of 5.
Great review, it’s a beautiful ship but with a few niggles that you pointed out. Interesting to hear about the poor service in the MDR and the lack of entertainment during the day. Hopefully it’s something MSC can resolve.
Hey, as always thanks for watching. Yes in general we thought it was a great ship. All the things we picked up on were generally small things and all could be resolved quite easily and sure will also be with world america.
@@ronwest2054 thanks for response Ron, seems we had very different sailings, how long were you onboard for? Our sailing had bare minimum entertainment in the daytime, and unless kids were in kids club there was nothing put on for them. Thankfully there were plenty of things for us to make our own entertainment. This is not a fault of the ship we don’t expect to be entertained all day just merely pointing it out from our perspective 🙂
Nice video! 😊 But “expensive drinks”? Really? I mean you get most cocktails for under 9€😅 On Royal, Carnival, Norwegian etc. that’s only a dream😅 MSC has the cheapest drinks and drinnks packages out there, besides Costa

Msc could do a lot more . The shows are a let down , shouldn’t need to pay for the good shows. The menus are repetitive virtuosa has had the same menu for years . The room service could be lot better we never met ours on the virtuosa very disappointing
Hi, as always thanks for watching. Hard to disagree with all your points, especially the menu point. The cabin steward was not good, a real shame as the cabin we thought was excellent for a balcony cabin. The MDR menu really needs a look at, shame as we love the buffet on MSC.
The shows are meant for European audiences, so western audiences might not enjoy them as much. All shows are complimentary except for cirque du soleil type shows on MSC and NCL.
No paid for shows on World Europa. Amelia is a great show (in my opinion) and one of best I have seen on a ship.. certainly an unexpected thing happens!
@@SwayPromo I’d say we’re not too bad you want to see some others 🤷♀️ I’m just a brutally honest person and reviewing a ship after 4 days on its first European cruise it’s a tad hard as don’t get a true feel for it. Would like to try this ship for a week to get a better sense 😊

I was just on the ship ....no reported problem with LED screen. Keep in mind it's a brand new ship.

Before departing from Genoa know that it's a small port that will have issues, especially with larger ships.
This is gonna be my first cruise for my honeymoon in June, thanks for the review.

Yes it’s available in the Buffett, other areas when we asked for tap water they tried to give us bottled, take a refillable bottle 😊

That's what you do. If you have 2 device package for 1 you share that with your partner.

Entertainment .... there's live music and interactive shows for kids/adults day and night.

Europe is Western. Msc shows avoid using languages because guests are from many countries.
