I see your point, and agree that She-Hulk is certainly the lucky one. I don't have anything else to add because I don't know anything about that show XD
See, now this is how She-Hulk should've been portrayed in the Disney+ show. The empowering, confident and playful alter-ego to Jennifer's more shy and reserved personality that doesn't look down on her peers and has a healthy relationship with Bruce. I've always seen She-Hulk similar to The Mask: she brings out Jennifer's more playful side and get rid of her inhibitions.
That's a good comparison. Stanley himself says the same thing in The Mask: it brings out whatever your inner desires are. By his own description, he's a little repressed and what comes out instead is a "love-crazy wild man". The whole plot of the movie hinges on preventing someone far worse like Dorian from getting a hold of the mask. XD
I watched this as a kid, read all the comics as a teen and I strongly disagree. I would at least say they're both just fine representations. Animated She hulk is just designed for the moment, so they crammed as much of her comic stuff in the show as possible. the MCU She-hulk is being spread out for a much more cinematic story. Not saying its the best she's ever been but look at it from the big picture.
Yep. They really shoulda changed the title and the intro. That dark theme song and "HULK" chant sounds ridiculous when paired with the different direction.

Introducing She-Hulk completely changed the tone of this show. Originally this show was very dark and serious. But She-Hulk is a humorous character who breaks the fourth wall. Apparently this was done after receiving complaints that the show was too dark.
It's possible, but you have to remember, in season 1, She-Hulk only appears in two episodes (you can tell them apart because she's voiced by Lisa Zane). She was promoted to co-star in season 2. I did find it quite ludicrous that they never changed the theme song, lol. They still kept the intense, guttural chant of "HULK". XD The fourth wall breaking was the comics, though. She-Hulk didn't really break the fourth wall here. If she had, you think I would've excluded those moments? XD
Yeah, maybe not the best time... unless you're executing a complicated scheme where you're trying to prove that Bruce is *not* the Hulk as an alibi in order to get him out of "destroying a military base" charges. XD (...don't ask. XD)
This is so much fun, you could argue that Jen’s stronger form makes her feel safer being her amazing, liberated self! It’s a good metaphor for living your truth!
As a little girl, when i first saw she-hulk's body my entire perception of femininity was altered forever. Big, muscled, tall, long haired and.. also beautiful as hell? i knew who i wanted to be from a very young age. So confident and strong. I would've dyed myself green if i could've too. Carmen sandiego in the 90s also did the very same to me.
I never thought I'd see Dr. Strange, She-Hulk and Bruce Banner go on a roller coster rider together. Looks so wholesome. This is the best version of She-hulk.
THIS is the She-Hulk I was hoping we were gonna get when the show was announced. Plus the dynamic between her and Bruce was always interesting. You had Bruce who was always at war with the hulk and Jennifer who embraced the Hulk powers with open arms from the jump.
She voiced Cleo from Clifford, Numbah 5 from KND, Wuya from Xiaolin Chronicles, Kida from Atlantis: The Lost Empire & Atlantis: Milo's Return, including Penny from Inspector Gadget and Blackarachnia from Transformers Animated, including Susie from Rugrats & All Grown Up.

Bruce: [screams in excruciating pain as he transforms into Hulk] Jennifer: [has an orgasm as she transforms into She-Hulk] Is it just me, or is something wrong here?
Well in the case of the Hulk, his body transformation is more painful like how his muscles, bones, and legs expand far beyond human, while in the case of Jennifer while yes she definitely gained more muscle mass it’s not to the same scale as the Hulk. Plus there’s also the fact that Bruce is also fighting off the influence of the Hulk as an alter ego. As far as the orgasmic part…well Jennifer’s a freak!
Not being a psychologist's worst nightmare to begin with tends to do that, since apparently that's how gamma mutations work in Marvel. Maybe we could've had a sexy himbo Hulk if Bruce had went to therapy before the incident.
@@splitjawjanitor5369 as an aspiring psychologist, a bundle of nerves and issues would not be a nightmare. It's more like salivating, thinking "I can fix him… and charge for an hour".
I dunno, from what I know of the comics, doesn't She-Hulk basically consider "She-Hulk" her *main* personality, and "Jennifer Walters" more of an alter ego? I don't know how much she goes by "Jen", to be honest...
The She-Hulk we deserved. And plus I I always love how she was distinct from her cousin, due to wanting to stay in her green form and still having intelligence, while Hulk had a major difference when it came to personality and intelligence. It's what set them apart. What She-Hulk should have been was funny, flirty, tough and caring. They decided to have her become the opposite of those.

This is how you pull off a decently written female character.
She's as sexy and smart as she is strong and confident, all without losing her femininity.
@@chubbyninja89 not all woman need to be written the same way and not all woman are feminine
@@kamilszczęsny-m9d
Don't try to justify all that modern "feminist" bullshit dude.
The problem with those idiots is that just turn the women into asshole men who have breasts or just make them outright ugly.
And it's all because they can't stand there being girls/women who are prettier than them.
And that's the most hilarious irony to this sort of stuff.
It's the fact that so many women never let go the stereotypical "pretty girl syndrome".
1:47 She-Hulk: "Gamma is a girl's best friend!"
Gamma Wasp and female terribly mutated victims of Gamma World: "That was a big lie."
She-Hulk is not Gamma Wasp, for obvious reasons :)))
@@Sen-sr4le I know but I do like the fact that Gamma Mutation is not treated as an overall body improvement like it did for She-Hulk and Samson who were the lucky ones.
It shows the horror of what really happens to everyone affected by it in Gamma World Parts 1 and 2 episodes of Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes show.
I see your point, and agree that She-Hulk is certainly the lucky one. I don't have anything else to add because I don't know anything about that show XD
You fucking lied to me
@@rexlumontad5644 That two part episode ruined my sleep even when the Absorbing man having some uru in his body was a terrible idea
XD
Seriously, WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED HERE?
Does Disney, just, hate all its properties?
@@HaydrogenBomb what happened is you got exactly what you deserved instead

Proving once again that self confidence is sexy.
She is trouble on two legs...
And I'm here for it...
I love those kinds
Light years better than the Disney Plus She Hulk
I watched this as a kid, read all the comics as a teen and I strongly disagree. I would at least say they're both just fine representations. Animated She hulk is just designed for the moment, so they crammed as much of her comic stuff in the show as possible. the MCU She-hulk is being spread out for a much more cinematic story. Not saying its the best she's ever been but look at it from the big picture.
that was an Abomination 😂
You said it.
her hair was so much better when it wasn't straightened.
I like how she isn't attacking men for existing. She's happy with herself and doesn't need to tear down anyone to enjoy her life.
By the second season it was more She-Hulk's show than The Hulk & She-Hulk's show
Yep. They really shoulda changed the title and the intro. That dark theme song and "HULK" chant sounds ridiculous when paired with the different direction.
2:37 Fun fact: It's because of Bruce's childhood trauma causing Hulk to be a split personality. Others like the Abomination, She-Hulk, Red Hulk, Red She-Hulk are just fine.
That interesting
That interesting, really hope more storyline explore that
Although sexualized..This version is much better female empowerment icon than newest version
Why "although", that should be a plus!

Yea, that's the point.
I thought sexualisation is empowerment? Oh, it changed again? Or is it still empowerment if women get paid too much for bath water? Lol
You are Implying Women’s sexuality is a bad thing.
Honestly, it's touching how much she cares about her cousin. He saved her life, and even though she doesn't feel sorry for herself, they understand each other.

Same with Star Wars

Don't exaggerate.

09:01 THIS. I love the portrayal of self love, acceptance and forgiveness.
90s She Hulk was my absolute favorite. Her voice, her style, her gorgeous appearance and not to mention she is dropped dead hot!
i love the moment where she fell in love with her human self, just as much as she loved her she hulk self. and she was still SMOKING HOT, it is ALL in the confidence

Really makes me wish Lisa Zane had more voice acting roles!
@@Sen-sr4le She is a very underrated voice actress.

The G.O.A.T of all The She Hulks
❤😊
They literally had a blueprint. A WHOLE BLUEPRINT. And we still got the awful MCU She-Hulk like come on
Introducing She-Hulk completely changed the tone of this show.
XD
The fourth wall breaking was the comics, though. She-Hulk didn't really break the fourth wall here. If she had, you think I would've excluded those moments? XD
Cree Summers is HALL OF FAME!
9:49 yes, she is.
She-Hulk is her
5:06 What a way to expose your cousin who saved your life
Yeah, maybe not the best time... unless you're executing a complicated scheme where you're trying to prove that Bruce is *not* the Hulk as an alibi in order to get him out of "destroying a military base" charges. XD
(...don't ask. XD)
This is so much fun, you could argue that Jen’s stronger form makes her feel safer being her amazing, liberated self! It’s a good metaphor for living your truth!
Indeed :)

One of my favourite scenes at that amusement park is that girl reacting to She-Hulk with "Wow! Mommy, I wanna be just like her when I grow up!" :)
She-Hulk awakened something in me when I was 11 years old. 🗣

Dr. Strange, She-Hulk and Bruce Banner go on a roller coster rider together. Looks so wholesome. This is the best version of She-hulk.

I mean, I'd be acting up, too. A jacked green woman with such an alluring, forward flirtatiousness would be intimidating. 😳
THIS is the She-Hulk I was hoping we were gonna get when the show was announced. Plus the dynamic between her and Bruce was always interesting. You had Bruce who was always at war with the hulk and Jennifer who embraced the Hulk powers with open arms from the jump.
She-Hulk She's Very Very Incredible Best Girl😀😍❤💚💗💖💞💓

I know that voice from anywhere… Cree Summer!!!!
The second one, yes, but I didn't know her first VA, Lisa Zane, from anywhere. I'm honestly disappointed she didn't do more voice acting XD
And that's not even counting her occasional one-off roles, like Sheba in Twisted Tales of Felix the Cat, or Cookie Baboom in The Mask: The Animated Series...

this whole think unlocks something
Real talk I feel like She Hulk saying Ben looked hunky would actually mean a lot to him considering how he usually seems to feel about himself.
Bruce: [screams in excruciating pain as he transforms into Hulk]
Jennifer: [has an orgasm as she transforms into She-Hulk]
Is it just me, or is something wrong here?
The Marvel 'verse clearly prefers Jen to Bruce. :P
Jen is into bondage confirmed
I knew I wasn’t confused when I saw the mcu she hulk. The she hulk i remembered was so cool in the cartoon
Here's a fun fact. She Hulk was voiced by Lisa Zane. The sister of the actor Billy Zane.
Me: Hey, She-Hulk, kick some butt.
(She-Hulk kisses Brandon on the lips)
She-Hulk: Call me Jennifer.
Now this is SHE-HULK
This is truly the era of the muscle mommy and It's goddamn finally time for all the normies to realize that muscular women have always been sexy.
If women look like this or aspire to look like this - then yes, muscular women are the best. Not those roided freaks like in certain games or bodybuilding competitions (they look like men and their hormons are fuсked)
She hulk and black cat from 90s cartoon series were and still are my favorite marvel muscle babes ❤❤❤
I’d rather watch this She-Hulk instead! ^^
And She-Hulk obtains the crucial Eds endorsement!

Okay, now that's the "Girl Power" I approve.
This is version we should have gotten in live action show. The fact that she wants to be a Hulk and stay in her Hulk form for as long as possible is so compelling, that she almost has the opposite desire of Bruce rather then being normal she wants to be Incredible. Truly the best version of the character.
