Wow, thank you for this information dear. I'm an ENROLLED NURSE AUXILIARY in South Africa, registered with the South African Nursing Council. I'm really interested in relocating.
Nurse associate was first introduced in 2016, to bridge the gap between hca/carers and RN. It's similar to an LPn in the Canada and USA and Enrolled Assistant Nurse here in Jamaica.
UK use to have Enrolled assistant nurse, they call them in to do a bridging program to RN. Now they use a new term nurse associate if the history is checked
@@kosisochukwuokafor3018 nursing here itsbjustnlike every where elsebi think, it's just that we are short staffed here as the nurses are leaving for USA and UK
Getting the visa point of 70 for UKVI for nursing associate is impossible for those requiring sponsorship outside UK. With nursing associate, the total score for new entrants is 60 because you will be paid the entering salary of 23949 pounds which makes it difficult to get the 20 score for the salary which is around 25000 pounds.
This is just an observation, there are not many vacancies for Nursing Associate positions out there and also, the other thing is that employers are no longer interested in healthcare assistants/carers from Africa as a whole but they prefer those from India and Phillipines. I struggled securing a job for my cousin from my mother's side of the family because my paternal side is of British origin and 3/4 of employers were telling me they were no longer recruiting from Africa instead they were accepting those from India, Asia and EU. I don't know whether it's to do with being "red-listed" not sure. However, I eventually found a nursing home outside London Shropshire to be specific who accepted her and now she's just awaiting for the nursing home to purchase the airline ticket for her.

God bless u for this wonderful Idea. Pls what about someone that is in the UK and working as a Health Care Assistant, can She change to A Nursing Associate? Is it possible?
Good morning nanelle, I have sent NMC an email and they relied they will get back to me in 15 days and it's passed the 15 days, I even sent another mail but still no reply, please what do you suggest I do? I hope u see this soon. Thanks
People prefer care assistance job because they only need 5 bands in IELTS whereas nursing associate job needs 7 bands same as in registered nurse job.
So if the requirement (IELTS, CBT and OSCE) is same for nursing associate job, why not go for registered nurse job which is at higher level than nursing associate?
Thanks dear, was just requesting for a page where i can apply for the nursing associate jobs

Hello Nanelle. I have a ward who is just starting as an Auxiliary nurse at the moment. She wants to relocate and has acquired several Certificates from Florence Academy (Catheter care, Anaphylaxis management; and Alison Academy (Diploma in Nursing and Patient Care). This Nursing Associate looks promising but I don't know since she has not got up to two years of work experience yet. Pls, what is your advice?
Is there anyway to get into contact with you from within the UK. I do have paperwork and want to get into nursing but don't even know where to start.
What if I don't have background knowledge of nursing and I love to become a nursing associate, how do I go about it.
