Hi Nanelle, I'm enjoying your tips 💓👍; A for using your phone timer, do you mean in the exam hall or when practicing at home?.. because i wrote my IELTS test in Dubai and we were only allowed to come in with pens...I registered and paid for the test just for trial in 2019,i choosed a week date for all areas and practiced within the 6days then I got overall= Band5 🙈😃...
I'm pretty sure I would do better next time if i practice for a longer period

In this video I heard you mention the academic ielts and seems I heard you mention ukvi ielts in another video. Tried booking online and I realised the ukvi was also there. Now am confused as to which to register for. Someone already at the UK says I should book the general. Kindly help please.

Please am preparing to write ielts exams to work at the uk as senior career, please which text should I take..
I used 3 days to write IELTS academic (computer based) and got overall band 7 with 6.5 being my least. My advice to people is to pay and book for the test in advance depending on the time you can prepare write the test. Once you pay, British Council sends you a separate mail of "GELPREP" to assist you in preparing for the test. The GELPPREP is the most effective learning material you can get so far as preparing for ielts academic is concerned. You may take classes and combine with GELPREP and for just 2 months, you can get band 9. NB: The most difficult model in ielts is reading so I will advice anyone to practice reading more on the GELPREP which comes with a timer just as the actual exams. ✌

I clicked the link and saw 3 more download links that redirected me to Google drive and then on opening, it had a bunch of videos and audios and I got confused. Am I to save all that or I can just read/study them off the page you created?
