Awesome! I bought "Unleashed in the East" when it first came out and this was the best song on an album full of great songs! Most people don't realize it was a Fleetwood Mac song.🤘😄
Thanks for actually explaining what your playing other then some people's thought of a lesson where they simply play the song without proper instruction..thanks
@leftystrat62 Well , in response to your response. If you actually are a part of the site where this lesson was filmed, he gives a brief history about the song and does touch on that fact.
Man, you perform this tune very accurately. A bit of advice, please when you show and explain the tone progression for the solos could you play them slower and complete parts from the riff to fo follow it, dig it, and practice to get it? Thank you. 👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
I like your style, explaining the frets the notes, key and scale your using! Making it more musical rather than just chasing the frets around the neck! Can I make a request? Motorhead Just coz you got the power, from the stage fright DVD. Phil Campbell plays a brilliant solo with a Minarik guitar that is shaped like a flame!! Thanks again! RIP Lemmy
His info says this is"by "Judas Priest-wrong. If you dig this you should check out the original by Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. If your not famaliar with them, this blues band out sold The Stones & The Beatles COMBINED in 1969-not too shabby.
I wouldn't say early early heavy metal, unless hes referring to peter greens manalishi from 69 the original i think? Priest uses full on Barr chords like today and simplified purple haze riff before crunch grind low E 79 or 80 never heard tone like unleashed in the east blew me away
i dont get your comment at all. you do or do not like the judas priest version? and are you saying that fleetwood mac was a heavy metal band? your comment makes no sense. "greene's manalishi" what the hell is that??
this is by Judas Priest because its their version of the song.... its like saying All Along the Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix.... he performed it so it so its by Jimi even though Bob Dylan wrote the song...
@0zzyfan44 - If you listen to a good quality version of Fleetwood Macs original you may reconsider. The sound and video quality of pretty much all Fleetwood Mac songs on youtube are 'PROPA' crap!! And you've got to remember, without Mac's version there would be no Judas Priest version.
What the hell is it? You mean "The GREENE Manalishi" ? Well , I know this much...it isn't authentic unless it comes with a Three Pronged Crown. And it's best viewed under circumstances heavily influenced by a hit of 4-Way Window Pane. Yeah...Heavily Mang...like heavily Fu Mang Chew ... Braaaa ... naw whit I meen??? cool...jus don b ob seen ... Luv ya bra ther ... Luv him and lick -em cleen ... Luv Ya Bra ther jus don Bogart the Mes-cal--Leen!!!
Dude you're the best teacher on youtube...love your lesson on Judas Priest
Gun Oil no he's not,try Carl at 365Guitar...your welcome 💀
This is the best lesson on TH-cam for this song!

Same with Black Magic Woman
Best live album by any band ever!
Nice work!
I glad to see this song on youtube. On of the highlights those solos on the Unleashed album. I listened to this part a thousand times back then.
Thanks for actually explaining what your playing other then some people's thought of a lesson where they simply play the song without proper instruction..thanks
Thank you! you put that in a way that helped me understand how to do it much better.
killer lesson. enjoyed it, judas priest rocks.
now just gotta get my cousin here to play it with me
I like this track too much !
that was the perfect way to youtube a lesson. I wish every one was like this (all compressed) no yaking and too the point. good job!
Some do like to hear themselves talk and push their guitar lesson sales
that was HUGE.... Many thanks !!!
Great lesson man!
Very explanatory. excellent !
am loving it dude. thanks
I love the JP version but the original by Peter Green is great too and just as fun to play!
Thank you.
Great lesson

cool stuff right on
i wish i knew as much about guitar as this guy did
Nice lesson
Who wrote this song? Fleetwood Mac?

Good job

Good job!
@cobracarg point well made, just think the person who wrote the song should be recognized, especially when it's someone like Peter Green.
awesome!
green was recognized on the hell bent for leather and unleashed in the east album
His info says this is"by "Judas Priest-wrong. If you dig this you should check out the original by Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. If your not famaliar with them, this blues band out sold The Stones & The Beatles COMBINED in 1969-not too shabby.
you rock

yep definetely. Would you actually teach some fleetwood mac because no one teaches it.
@UnchainTheNight1 Peter Greene wrote the song.
I love the Judas Priest cover, though. Some songs like this don't work well as metal. This one does.
Excellent!
God damn that ending riff. gets me screwed up every time.

Fuck, I was playing this all wrong. Helped out
Peter Green song, not Judas

high as a mountain goat on a rainy day
Yes Peter Greens version was and will always be the best because its the original!, so settle down children and learn your music istory
12:45-13:15
he doesnt look at all high in that video either.
Good lesson....there is an easier way to play this...
Are you saying he's Jesus?
Primative prehistoric crust, with good E minor lick ending
Probably a reference to Peter Greene, the original guitarist for Fleetwood Mac.
I play this song all with power cords, sound is no different. Good song though.
BTW...unless someone already posted....the solo is actually by the great Peter Green....
@cobracarg
so he's high on jesus then
Fleetwood Mac did an ok cover, but nothing beats the Priest version.
Sorry, but Fleetwood Macs version is not the cover. SMH
Great song but the Judas Priest version is a cover of the original song by Fleetwood Mac. I prefer the original. It has a lot more character.
he plays for a church band...
He looks like John Lennon
not at all ...
actually, he's never high.
haha
then you haven't seen his trooper video loollllllllll
lol he's not high in this one
rofl
no.... his job is playing for a church

This is not very very very heavy metal.
