Run a lot over loaders over the years . Trust me keep the fender or the dirt and rock fling up and trash the panels and brake the mirrors. Congratulations on the new ride !! I love the Komatsu loaders 👍
Haha, I got called away before 34:58 - we all been there, when you gotta go - you gotta go, and what do they say?, more n 2 shakes you're playing with it lol! !@@jamesfournier6114
I’m from mass we do a lot of snow work in the winter time and we bought two loaders that have full fenders. If you don’t have full fenders on in the winter time you get a rooster tail of slush coming off of the tires.
9/17/23..DB, like yur 'new' Komatsu Loader...with >Full Size< rear fenders..yes, keep rear fenders on machine...minimize mud splash when backing up. Video makes this unit look brand new! Love that 'full view' front windshield with 'invisible' glass-to-glass (90°) corner seam. Yup, you are 'High Falutin' now buddy!...think I saw your 'pinky' finger waaay up in air (Champagne 🥂 glass grip) as you show off that power steering tight turning radius, aye?🤔 Stay safe & carry on!⚙️💪🔧🪝🍺😊
I say, "Keep the fenders on Big Boss!" Depending on terrain conditions, they'll keep your glass cleaner from mud spray and also minimizes dust kicking up in dry conditions.😇
Mikey, the fenders stop a lot of stones and mud flying in all directions on these wheelies. You being a nicey nice guy dont want your colleagues batttered or their screen smashed by flying rocks. It is noticed, if you look after your workmates, they will look after you.
So that big, bad *DOZER* has a 'cousin' to play with! GOOD - CONGRATULATIONS and *YOU DESERVE IT* and you take GREAT CARE of all your equipment! This one will do snow removal (if we get any this year!) Can't believe how *BIG BOSS turns* unreal nice! VALENTE trucks short cuz YOUR TRUCK has almost a foot taller sides!
Keep the fenders, they keep all the wet stuff off the rest of the machine. Try some RainX on all the front glass it will help get the rain off and you'll see better. Keep smilin. Nice loader
Good purchase looks like a brilliant machine just can't help myself but laffin at the trucker 35mins into it and gets out his cab has a piss right Infront of the camera then must have seen your tripod and camera then turns his turns his seagull bait away and turns round 🤣🤣 just brilliant lmao
Nice to be able to move material fast and efficient. There comes a time when you have no choice but to upgrade.I'm pondering my first TLB.Thats a nice, clean, lower hr machine, should last years as O/O.Keep the fenders on,and rustproof around the inside where mateial ad moisture sits.
Bro the fenders are stopping the mud from flying everywhere. You caught a truck driver cooling his tire off!! 😂 Big Boss is a nice addition. It may replace your dozer on some sites. Watch some loader vs dozer videos.
I plow with the same machine basically, wa200 and with no fenders on the back when cruising down the road in sloppy slush/snow you will leave a 20 foot rooster tail lol. So much so that the snow flies off the back and front wheels forward into the air and then you drive into it covering the windshield. The snow also cakes your mirrors and if you have the window down will cover your jacket if it’s hung on the hanger. Love the ride control and the regenetive braking or whatever they call it. It’s zippy for getting around and the hydraulic controls are intuitive. I always use the thumb for forward/ reverse though
Being local, part of the fun of watching your uploads is trying to figure out where your jobs are located! Oh I was way off! Voorhesville wow! Valentie sure has a long run!
Absolutely brilliant investment for your business Mikey!! It was sorely needed to move large quantities of material in a short time. It effectively means you can compete for more contracts and complete them in a timely manner. With all these machines, maybe you can get a casual operator that you trust! Not much good having these machines sitting around doing nothing. You could rent the machine and operator out on an hourly rate and pick up a lot of cash that way. Nicey nice Mike its a goodun!
Awesome loader. Id leave the fenders. Otherwise it'll throw mud and debris up on your rear bumper where your battery boxes are. That's what ours does without the fenders. Mud gets down in your battery box and clogs up your drain holes and rots out the box.
Love the machine Dirt Boss ! I live local and follow my town meetings. During these meetings these people said that they were going to use goats to keep the vegetation down. It looks to me that a goat would jump on those f@#@s and cause damage.
And I’m for solar but I just thought their idea of keeping an area natural was funny. Plant a tree perimeter and use goats. Come on guys. Put the thing everywhere if you want but in my republican town don’t tell us sheep fix the problem.
New toy to play with Mike 😂 Big Boss suits the loader, so far it is doing a good job for you ! 💪💪💪 Keep the wheel arches on, it adds to the Komatsus' character 😎💪
Hello, congratulations on your new achievement. Just a little tip to make your work easier, you don't have to select the gear on the steering wheel! You can switch to joystick control using a switch in the cockpit. Much easier and even more fun. Kind regards, Ben
Ohh, that's crap! The dealer didn't fix it before the sale because the dealer isn't very good! In any case, I already had that and sat down with the prices for it. Here in Germany the prices are between €800 and €1,500! It wasn't difficult to install on my wheel loader. I did this by myself in half an hour! I still wish you much success and fun with your machine and look forward to more great videos from you. LG Ben
Mikey, you cant fly your drone so close to power lines. It disrupts the signal. Every time I fly over a pylon, it just wipes out the connection. You have several lines of pylons in front of you, no surprise you are losing the signal.
Love the new loader! I've got a little one I built out of a jd diesel front mower of course its home made not a real one like yours but it get the job done look forward to more videos on it
Congrats, that's a fantastic loading shovel! I'd keep the fenders though, it's a nightmare to keep clean without. As to replacing the Kobelco... the Komatsu excavators are good, but the cab is not as good as most other manufacturers have. I'd check out a new -11 Kobelco first. World-class cab, it just sips diesel, and an overall solid machine.
Great loader Mike, make a good team w/ the busa and /or load and carry jobs. Fenders for sure keep from throwing mud, stone surry all over machine...MING!
Greetings from Munich Bavaria , it's just Oktoberfest time , I drink a Mass of Beer of you , it's a strong beer and not for you , it beams you away immediately , have a nice day and good luck with the loader !
Nice! You're going to get a lot use out of that. As for the backhoe, I don't know about you, but every time I say I'm selling mine and going excavator-CTL combo, I pick up a job that's either too steep or too slick for tracks. Keep the fenders, your glass will thank you.
Based on that power line I’m guessing you are on the Rensselaer side. I’m in Schodack where they said the goats would keep the field trimmed. Oh natural
Nice that’s a perfect size to for what you do. Once you get that button working for shifting you’ll love it even more doesn’t seem like a big deal but after running the button for yrs on the joystick I hate using the one on the column
I think i would have to see it without the fender to make a definite call. But im leaning towards no rear section as i bet thats part of the reason both panels are rusting right there. Great video. I think i may have driven by that sight a couple weeks ago if its not far from fred the butcher.
Nice Loader Mike.....Happy for ya Buddy! I'd say pull them off. Looks like they are keeping moisture on the metal causing rust-out to occur. Just my 2 cents!
I'm from Mass I worked with the county guys for years, you got a nice Machine barely used and kept up with every maintenance possible even if it was'nt used it still got changed, where in mass did you get the Loader from
thats part of Franklin County, years ago driving truck i used to be all over that place LOL, they kept equipment in tip top shape only problem was winter time with the snow and salt and plowing@@DIRT-BOSS
I notice in America that you don’t seem to use a 4 in 1 bucket much on your smaller loaders and skid steers, here in Australia it’s the norm to fit a 4 in 1 Only saying not knocking anything Best of luck in your new purchase
Nice machine, Mike. Glad to see the fleet getting bigger. In a years time, you’ll wonder how you ever survived without a loader!
Dirtboss!!!! One heck of a machine you got, it’s great watching your journey, congrats on the new equipment.
Thanks 👍
Great machine enjoy keep the fenders best protection have a great evening 👍🏻🇺🇸
Big Boss is going kick your butt😂 congratulations, well deserved 💪💪👍🇺🇸
That machine should serve you well. 💪
Run a lot over loaders over the years . Trust me keep the fender or the dirt and rock fling up and trash the panels and brake the mirrors. Congratulations on the new ride !! I love the Komatsu loaders 👍
Thanks for the tip
Funny at minute 35 you had the driver washing his tires 🤣🤣taking a little leak and I think he had more then 2 shakes on that thang
Haha, it looks like Mike's edited it out, there's a bit of a jump in the filming at 1:35 lol.....
@@andymack5093 No its still there 34:58 to 35:03 Shaky Shaky Haha

Beautiful machine. Nice addition to the fleet.
Keep the fenders on Big Boss!
Those tires are amazing for snow and pavement travel but that mud your in, not so much. Congrats on the purchase.
Mikey, the fenders stop a lot of stones and mud flying in all directions on these wheelies.
You being a nicey nice guy dont want your colleagues batttered or their screen smashed by flying rocks.

I would keep fenders 😊
Nice unit Mike ! Get a 15 foot snow pusher your son will do a good job on your driveway

Way to go dirt boss on the new wheel loader purchase! And spot on with the name of it BIG BOSS! Thanks Max! Keep the good videos coming.
Congrats Mike, on getting ur first Komatsu Loader WA270-7. Big Boss is a beast..
Crisp machine. Sounds very sweet. She's a happy girl
Nice wheel loader Mike. Congrats. I would keep your backhoe. They’re handy to have at the yard as a backup machine or at job sites

Looks good with them fenders but I can see your point to go without them.

Congrats on the new loader, Mike. Nice long video.
Beautiful machine Mike, but fill that bucket my brother, fill it!! Lol.....
Congratulations on your new machine DB.

Yes I know but for some reason it's throwing a code when I press the button dealer says it's a common issue..the button goes bad
Ohh, that's crap! The dealer didn't fix it before the sale because the dealer isn't very good! In any case, I already had that and sat down with the prices for it. Update got the button to work it just had dirt and it cleaned it up badda boom badda bing
It can be that simple sometimes! Well then, let’s get started with work and fun. 🤑👍
Epic episode Mike.......not that you'll need it but best of luck with the new to you machine. She looks like a runner!!

Kinda like the look of the fenders.
Yeah im keeping them alot of people made sense
Nice machine. I like the look of the fenders personally.
Very nice.
You definitely got plenty of practice with the new loader, making her pay from day one. Nice rig.
Congratulations! Looks like a nice loader!! That front windshield is pretty neat, looks like good vision.
Nice! You're going to get a lot use out of that. As for the backhoe, I don't know about you, but every time I say I'm selling mine and going excavator-CTL combo, I pick up a job that's either too steep or too slick for tracks. Keep the fenders, your glass will thank you.
35:05 mark- someone needed a pee break
Handy asset to the fleet - well done.
Keep.
keep the fenders
Keep the fenders.
Nice rig bud. Can't wait to see Matt at Diesel Creek drop that motor in "Fat Alice"
Based on that power line I’m guessing you are on the Rensselaer side. I’m in Schodack where they said the goats would keep the field trimmed. Oh natural
Voorheesville
Smart looking machine Mike, I personally like the fenders but can see both sides of the argument.
Nice piece of machinery! Love the videos👍
34:59 caught the guy taking a leak lmao
I like the look of the full fenders on it but I can also see where they can trap a lot of dirt and mud over time and not be the best for the paint
DIRT BOSS on a GREEN SITE!!!!
Nice that’s a perfect size to for what you do. Once you get that button working for shifting you’ll love it even more doesn’t seem like a big deal but after running the button for yrs on the joystick I hate using the one on the column
I bet definitely
I got the button to work today I took it apart cleaned it there was a bunch of dirt in the bottom of it that was making the neutral hang
You do know theres a thumb switch for fwd/rev..dont need to keep messing with the column shifter
Yes there is but it's reading lLO3 code when I press it dealer thinks it's the switch
I like the fenders
NIce! Congrats on the loader!
Mike you got the truck driver peeing!!!! Lmao !!!!@ 35 mins in!!! Lmao!!!
nice addition, keep the fenders. does it have a scale built in?
No

Yes Good guys

Yes exactly I was eating there for a month straight love the cutlets!
34:59 😂
Is that a 3 yard bucket?
Yes
Mike is that job 300 miles west from your house? By Buffalo.
No half hour
I wonder if the guy noticed the camera when he was pissing
Yea he looked right at the camera too
🙃
Leave fenders

Worst!!!!
