Surely should have 1- better than a Prize for Peace- especially in these time when Peace seems an unreachable goal- I am grateful for the lessons learned from Ninja 🤓 Nerd- may He forever make these in- depth lectures!
I'm an Italian dyslexic medical student, i remember that when I tried to read this from the book i was about to quit medical school. Meanwhile learning from your videos is as easy and funny as playing a game. You literally saved my life. Wholeheartedly, thank you.❤❤❤
Many of us who are still lay-people but want to be informed also are Ninja Nerd followers. His lectures are so good that often We Also can Follow Along!
This is my netflix, i just love neurology! It's a really tough subject to understand properly, you sir are an amazing amazing teacher. Thank you so much🙏😁 My med school journey would be much much tougher if it wasn't for this channel😂
You have saved my optometry degree. I love my professor, but he just says these words and expects us to know where they are, without explaining it. These videos have put it together in my brain that I understand what is happening. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR WORK!
There are several professors on TH-cam channels and they are all brilliant. But this guy here is simply gifted. He found his passion, uses what he is endowed with and thank you is never gonna be enough to appreciate him. I pray that he remain strengthened and be blessed beyond his imaginations. Respect.
1:01:32, it should be vestibular nucleus --(+)--> opposite side VI nucleus --(+)--> same side III nucleus, so when u turn your head to the left, the medial rectus of left eye contract, the lateral rectus of right eye contract. if follow your diagram, your eyes will move the same direction with your head
yeah man...thanks for the explanation...In the next video(pons), he said that from vestibular nucleus it supplies contralateral 6th nerve....so I came back to this video to find out which one is correct.....
Man you are a real ninja who is helping me excelling my mbbs exams back to back . Please please cover each and every topics from anatomy! We all love ya much ninja bro ❤❤❤
Wow! I watch your videos pretty often Zach, and your enthusiasm, and overall vibe and energy is always very appreciated, desirable, impressive, etc! Thank you Ninja Nerds Lectures!
Thoroughly enjoyed. Your lectures have been a big factor for my renewed interest in the basics & building up knowledge from bottom up. So thanks a lot. Q
im not gonna lie, i have an exam in 8 days, and i sat down today to identify my weakness topics which is the midbrain anatomy and the functions of the somatosensory and visual pathways.... i am truly grateful for you because the worry of managing all of these names and organization just faded away,,, i watched the entire video... and flipped through my lecture notes and was completely surprised to see it all come together and make sense in the end. Thank you sooooooo much!!!
Midbrain, also called mesencephalon, region of the developing vertebrate brain that is composed of the tectum and tegmentum. The midbrain serves important functions in motor movement, particularly movements of the eye, and in auditory and visual processing👍
I am 4th year in Croatia, and I am trying to comprehend these concepts and today everything connected nicely into one broad picture and I am so grateful for that. Thank you for your amazing lessons.
You are helping a lot of medical students. please share videos on ophthalmology too. Like refraction, ophthalmology disorders, retinoscopy, low vision, squint, ptosis etc 😀
Hi! I recently started watching your videos and find them very helpful. Thank you for your effort, explanations are excellent and very easy to understand. I wonder if you could just record the whole board at the end of your videos when everything about the lecture is already written, so we can make screenshots. I think that would be very helpful for those who make their notes and also it would be much easier to remember everything you have said while watching at your own drawings. Hope I am not asking too much and wish you all the best! :)
Hello, absolutely great video, thank you. I would like to just point one thing, crus cerebri (crura cerebri) is no longer used in atatomical nomenclature. The term, which is used now is just simply pedunculi mesencephali. Have a nice day and thank you for your content.
Awesome video! One quick correction - you mention at 53:18 that the substania gelatinosa is "rexed lamina 3". I think it is rexed lamina 2. Thanks for these videos they are fantastic!
Family member just diagnosed with Medial Temporal Sclerosis- their Hippocampus " shrimp shape" seems to be a little warped- hope THIS Ninja Nerd lecture is the right one- but gonna listen anyway!
Wow the way he teaches is so amazing I am gonna refer this channel to all of my friends to watch all of his videos and get his all new videos by hitting the subscription button 💓❤💓❤💓❤💓❤
great video once again. The nucleus cochlearis sends fibers bilateraly though, at least the posterior nucleus cochlearis does, which is responsible primarily for high pitch noises. This is important, as that leads us to understand that unilateral deafness is practically impossible to stem from singular cerebral damages craniel of the cochlear nuclei. 35:00
I had been waiting for your lecture on mid brain...Really I wanted that...Thanks a lot for this video...Just keep it up...Please try to make another video lecture on Limbic system and cerebrum...♥May you live long...Love you so much.💝
Honestly, I've got nothing to do with medicine but I like watching your videos. according to my age, I'm a little bit worried about my prostate, can you make a class of it.
everything here is perfect The only annoying thing is the Lecturio ads My dear ones, is there really someone who leaves this wonderful explanation and then goes to watch others?
This guy is a genius. Isn’t there any nobel prize for phenomenal teaching skills.

What a deep Mid- Brain area- but with his explanation You almost think You Can See It All, can't you ?
53:18 Isn't substantia gelatinosa rexed lamina 2
Apologies for this! You are correct! Substantia Gelatinosa of Rolando correlates with Rexed Laminae II in the Dorsal Grey Horn :D
Keep up the good work,
