My dad bought a Farmall 706 gas new in spring of 1967.. The 706 is a great lighter utility tractor for hay equipment etc. The 706 will pull a14" Inch, 4 bottom plow in light soil. Shifted into Low range - 4th gear. We also had a 806 diesel, both are great farm tractors.

I had a gas 706 I really liked it pulled good and easy to start in the winter 🚜
I would imagine the 706 s hard on fuel being a gas motor vs diesel? Sounds really good and I wish you luck.
It does well for my operation mainly use it for mowing with the 990 swather and a 640 new holland round baler. Thanks.
