    I just wanted to say thank you so much for this informative video! I gave it a try last night, my legs felt more ‘alive’ and I could actually feel movement.
    A few hours into my night time sleep, I woke up completely have soaked my pants and shirt in sweat. When I did a google search on side effects from lymphatic drainage massage, it said “You'll experience an increase in sweating and body odor, a sign that toxins are being eliminated.” Awesome! Thanks so much. ❤

    I was diagnosed with lymphedema about six months ago. Prior to that I'd never heard of it. This is a more in-depth massage than my therapist was doing. Then I had hip surgery at the end of January and the lymphedema treatments stopped. But my doctor ordered compression sleeves for my legs to help with that. I think this is something I can do in conjunction with the compression treatments so I don't have to go back to the binding bandages. Thank you for this.

    Thank you for this timely video. After my mom got out of the hospital from pneumonia, her legs were swelling badly. I used this video to give her daily massages while I was helping her recover. It was so interesting to see the improvement and feel the fluid move around. Just a couple of weeks later and her doctors are amazed that the swelling is completely gone!

      First, what a loving and caring daughter you appear to be! The doctors "being amazed"... they are such jerks who can't seem to render effective care anymore! What if your mom had not had your dedicated efforts? (Like me!) Then those bozos prescribe more pills and only the treatment insurance will pay for.

    Last year I mentioned on another of your videos this tip my LMT gave to me. He recommended getting a paint roller with a soft brush cover to help reach the lower parts of the leg and feet I had trouble reaching because of bad knees and swelling from lymphedema making it hard/painful to bend at the knee.

    I cant thank this creator enough. Been having lipedema issues for a few weeks now and knew I needed to start doing something since it was interfering with exercise (which can ALSO help) and after doing this routine I went from having exessive buildup causing stiffness around my hips which prevented me from being able to squat properly- to being able to dip almost as deep as I used to be able. This is such a wonderful day, because I was distressed at the thought of having to pay a ton for physical therapy or massage to help me. Thank you SO MUCH

Oh that’s on related to the back pain., they never wanted to talk about those nodules I would find in my back 5 or 6 of them,but I have done 2 videos with you. The gut one & this one that includes some gut, but my calves were so sore. Two videos in one week and the last two that I had there this morning going I do not have any lymph nodes in my back for the first time, and I don’t know when - thank you so much for your time and caring

    Both my legs have severe vericose veins and I have worn compression stocking for years. I recently had one knee then the other replaced 90 days later. Swelling in my legs has been extreme and I have been determined that my 2nd knee replacement from 10 days ago goes better than the first one. This video is WONDERFUL to help get backed up fluid out of my leg. I can feel the difference after 20 minutes of self massage done the right way. I actually had lymphoma 23 years ago in my neck and chest. I never realized you need to stimulate the entire lymphatic system for best results. Thank you. Anita

    • @1961-v9k
      @1961-v9k ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Having varicose veins leads to venous insufficiency and therefore will cause swelling. It is all very well working on the Lymphatic system, but if your veins are damaged no amount of massaging would help. You need the underlying cause of your varicose veins treated. Not many people are aware that varicose veins can now be cured or hugely improved, but of course would need to be paid for. I know because I have been through all of this and it had nothing to do with the Lymphatic System.

      @@1961-v9k Several natural herbals reduce & normalise varicose veins - and acupuncture / acupressure can also be helpful - it is worth checking options - I healed and normalised a nasty 45+ year old enlarged vein on my inner calf which I had had since a teenager ( I remember always being aware of & it used to hurt on occasion ) never underestimate what natural medicine can do for you.

    I am a Burn Survivor 6-1/2 years out. I have 60% of my body burned with damage going into the muscle tissue from below my knees up to and including my groin. My arms were burned to muscle under my arm pits and they had to rebuild my hands. I have also had skin grafts on my chest and pectorial area. My edema started about 18 months ago. I was prescribed water pills from my General Practice Dr. and he also suggested compression socks, with not mention of how and what the real problem was. Through my own curiosity and suggestion from my massage therapist, I determined that I most likely have lymphedema and started drainage exercises. I was on TH-cam and your video was shown in my interests. The information that I found also explained the swelling that I have in my groin and under my armpits that I had just blown off as old age. I am 61 years old. Thank you for your information. I will follow up in a couple months and let you know how things are changing. My skin grafts are very thick and have little feeling. I am not sure how much pressure that it may require with the scaring. Thank you.

    I’m gonna keep going. My knee (front & back) is the worst. It fills back up each day.
    It’s also improving my CVI symptoms.

      Hello how're you doing?

    • @1961-v9k
      @1961-v9k ปีที่แล้ว

      CVI can now be cured or hugely improved if the underlying cause is treated by a qualified Phlebologist. This has nothing to do with the Lymphatic System and everything to do with Venous Insufficiency. You need Duplex Vein Mapping Scan to identify which veins need treating. I know because I have been through all of this and I have learned that very few people are aware that there is now a cure for Varicose Veins, but it is extremely hard to find the right specialist, especially in the US. I’m from England and had my treatment in London. Our NHS is unable to deliver such specialist treatment.

      Lipedema causes both legs to swell. Lymphedema usually causes swelling in the affected side. Leg swelling can also be caused by other things such as heart disease or POTS.

    Girl, this is the truth! My hips were so tight for the past three weeks. I know I have some misalignment, but usually I could pop my hip back in place. It would not pop, and caused tension in my lower back. I did this massage while tanning outside, and once I started stimulating the lymph nodes in my groin area I immediately knew that was where the problem lied. My legs ankles and feet have been stolen with lymphendema for 30 years, the swelling has never gone down. They are tight and full of fluid all the time I ve done most of these remedies, without any change.

    Your videos are very user friendly. To regain and improve lymph health needs to be addressed with lifestyle and dietary changes that, in my personal and professional experience, are not addressed within the allopathic medical world. Organs of excretion, as well as endocrine need to have their functions understood and improved. The lymph system is integral to all others, and I have yet to meet one physician who explains this to patients. If anyone who reads this has found one 👍
    Unless the removal of what is being dredged up by the lymph self massage is improved through our bowels, urine, breath it is impossible to find real healing, which in my experience had to be found outside the pharmaceutical, injection, surgery paradigm that allopathic medicine offers. It is extremely unfortunate that this is how things are.

      @@Dvmy8786 Divya, Google, or other search engines: Wellness Mama. Advice there. If you belong to fb there are groups there for natural approaches to infant health.
      Have you tried any of this gentle lymph drainage massage on your baby? Or, asked your pediatrician? Sadly, some just write prescriptions. I would search lymph drainage massage for babies.
      This is not a question to be answered w no info - history. Diet, your breast milk. The last three years of medical interventions - vaccines have had an impact on all of us and our health on all levels. Lots of stress.
      Keep looking, you will find answers.

    Whew! I was told that I wasn't doing the stroking technique correctly some years ago when I was taught this and Dr Reed's technique is much faster and less fussy, too.
