I have some vintage outdoor suits and match this perfect. My family makes fun of my orange suit but I'm seriously never cold and so comfortable (plus use to be my dad's suit) I think I need to just take it all the way and get the blaze orange swag to match.
Any advice for comfortable sleep for my husband? He's 6'4" big tall heavy guy and older. I'm thinking off the ground but then getting cot for big guy is risky... thought back of truck but low topper and still have to crawl into truck bed. Then there's hammocks and he can hang in his own tree lolol. Or swag on cot. I'm torn, he's not the camper I am, so I've convinced him to go on adventure with me but I need to make him comfortable so he comes back lolol if one big tent he still needs off ground and I don't do air Mattress so back to thinking of cot or stretcher for big guys
Ok it's incredibly awesome you can fit this in your office lolol. Have an extra guest no problem Have a swag tent in my office for the night lololololol
Anthony Grisancich I haven’t used tend and stretcher. The reason I prefer swag is simplicity. 3poles and add pillow and your good to go. Adding the mattress topper and massive sleeping bag to this one has made the comfort unreal
I thought I’d be claustrophobic in this but it seems alright so far. I was use to a massive OZtrail pioneer discovery super long swag. If you’re looking for something big they are worth a look
Nice looking swag. Been thinking of going to a crashpad swag and stretcher soon. The kings one I have now is a little big to travel with now with the duel cab. Keen to see how this goes after a few trips away. Can't loose it with that colour 😂
Hey maté nice review on the products I wanted to know how your mega hooded canvas sleeping bag is going have you used it in sub zero temperatures yet I know it’s been 2 years since you made the video. I have the same sleeping bag it’s comfort rated at - minus 7 Celsius and rated to - minus 12 I guess that’s the temperature before you start to suffer I’m really curious is it as good as it says and close to the comfort rating of - minus 7 ? I’ve used mine at 4 degrees Celsius and I was still boiling in it lol it would be great if you could give me a little feedback, I’m also wondering is the canvas waterproof? Thanks in advance 🤟👍
Hey mate I've used it many of times around 0 degrees, I find I just use it as a blanket because it holds soo much warmth. I generally sleep with the side of the swag open it definitely is good enough for due, but I would think it'd be very good in rain
Slide the mattress topper into the mattress cover. Seems like there’s be enough room to slide it into the mattress cover and that would negate the need for the sheet and stop it sliding around/moving etc
I’m about the same size as you and have a double swag with similar type of mattress. I bought a couple of 40mm self inflating mats from eBay and slide them under the mattress. Makes it very comfortable
I love that colour , maybe I should sell my green one and get orange 🤔. I definitely reckon you need the mattress topper. I am using the crashpad stretcher with my single and that makes it really awesome, I know its an extra thing to carry and set up but its definitely worth it .

Just wondering what your thoughts are on catch cans, intake cleaning, EGR, injector cleaning, secondary fuel filters. From what i've seen i'd say you're all over it. Any plan to make any maintenance vids in the future?
Avon G hey mate thanks. No plans on maintenance videos at the moment. For general servicing I still pay a mechanic to do it. Catch can is definitely worth doing. Second fuel filter is worth considering if you’re going to be fuelling up In questionable places
Hey mate, I’m 182cm and I found a few times I had my feet against the canvas. It’s not terrible but just something I’m not used to. My OZtrail double swag is 2.8m long, it’s a Pioneer Discovery super long that would definitely be a better option for a tall fella like yourself. They are also a great quality swag. I’m not sure if they make a single version of it though, but it’d be worth checking out.
aiden sharvell drink enough and the sand won’t bother you 😂. I use a 3x3 mesh ground sheet and it works pretty good. Other than that take a dust pan brush to sweep your legs and feet

With the extra room in bag could get something to put clothes in and just keep some extra clothes in it or even a ground mat in the bag too

there are some really good big stretchers around now, and big enouth to set a swag like this up on top

I've found over time its great and doesn't really slide around these days

I love the orange. That was the reason I went with crashpad. I have been considering a stretcher just not convinced I’m ready to give up the space

Pitch a stretcher underneath, that should help.
Yep mesh ground sheet and talc on your feet, stops the sand sticking

Yes, its not pitch black but it blocks a significant amount of light
