Good content mate ! A pleasure to watch. The second engine sounds as good as the first one . 300mm of rain 😳 ? That would wash us down stream for sure . 🌵
Thanks Pete, it's definitely a weight off my shoulders. I was confident it would be fine, but you just don't know for sure until you see it for yourself!!
Love videos like this.just getting stuff done.not afraid to give it ago..and doing it all in 4245% humidity. I’m glad I moved to tassie.tho winter is a different story.keep up the great work..
Looks like another win Pete. You can probably count on one hand the number of times in your life a project has moved along ahead of schedule. Did you have a little glass of scotch to enjoy as you edited this video because you sure deserve it!
Hi Geoffrey, I probably should have. But I had a few last weekend for my birthday. I don't want to drink every weekend!! ...And I probably shouldn't have said "I'm ahead of schedule", now something might happen! Ha ha!!
Yeah, I was surprised at how well it worked! I reckon I could just about get her up on the plane with the starter alone!! Ha ha Thanks for the comment!! :-)
Those copper elbows joined to what looks like gal pipe will cause galvanic corrosion of the gal pipe. You could count the days that will last with sea water flowing through it. Mixing different metals can be a big problem in marine applications. Cheers
Hi Chris, as usual, you are correct about the gal pipe corroding in raw water. However, those lengths that I showed are actually copper pipe (not gal) and they are going to be used on the 'engine coolant' side of the system, not the sea water side. So I'm feeling confident it will be fine. Thanks for pointing that out, though.
Happy Australia day Pete. I am loving your videos. There is something ASMR about watching an expert doing his thing.
Thanks Andrew! Glad to see you're enjoying the content. Dunno about this "expert" thing, though!! Ha ha!!
That engine sounded amazing. Not a knock or rattle.
Thanks Pete. You da man.
Good job, great to watch. Keep it going
Thanks Andrew, will do!
Going along nicely Pete. Another step closer 👏👏👏👍👍👍😀😀
Thanks Mr Roberts! Won't be long, now!!
"We are well ahead of time'". That could be a hold my beer moment. Happy rum rebellion day.
Ha ha! Yeah, I probably shouldn't have said that.
Good video mate. Was good to watch after a big Australia Day. Talk soon
Thanks for watching, Steve. Hope you had a great Australia Day too! Loved your idea about the tractor out in the front yard with the flag, too!
Good content mate ! A pleasure to watch. The second engine sounds as good as the first one . 300mm of rain 😳 ? That would wash us down stream for sure . 🌵
Hi Scott! Glad you're enjoying it. So far, we've had some overnight rain, but nothing near 300mm. I think they lied to us!! Ha ha!!
Good job Pete, must be a weight of your mind, knowing both engines are good.
Hi Mr Jambo! Yes, it's a huge relief! Now, I'm just itching to get her in the water!! Ha ha.
